Just SAYING “it needs to be fixed” doesn’t magically fix ANYTHING.

Studies / investigations would have to be conducted to determine what needs to be “fixed” and how best to do it.

Then the “fix” would have to be implemented by a team that was brought up to speed on the findings of the studies / investigations. That team would have to develop a final plan of action that would have to be approved by President Musk (and Donold) - and maybe congress if they’re even relevant anymore.

FEMA has worked EXACTLY as expected / envisioned in EVERY major disaster since its inception.

Also:

Climate change IS increasing the frequency AND the severity of natural disasters, and the ONLY thing needed is MORE funding for FEMA so it can meet the ever evolving / escalating challenge - ESPECIALLY IF we’re not going to seriously address climate change.

The FEMA “wheel” does NOT need to be reinvented. It already works. It just needs more grease (funding).
