For Those Who Might Be Wondering Why We Might Be In Ukraine

Of course they wouldn't. Just like Israel and just like South Africa....
Russian propaganda has you on edge. The entire scenario from start to finish. Quite sad for someone who has been entirely skeptical of the bullshit

Zelenskyy has said he won't make peace on any terms that let Russia keep the territory it grabbed in 2014.

Is he sticking to that?

It appears peace talks are going to happen . . . maybe . . .

BRUSSELS — It was the moment Europeans and Ukrainians have been dreading for months, if not years.

Yet when it finally came, on a wintry afternoon as Kyiv froze, the suddenness and scale of Donald Trump’s peace plan still left Ukraine’s allies in shock.

The United States has effectively called time on its support for Ukraine as it resists Russia’s invasion, with Trump announcing immediate negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin and telling Ukraine leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy to give up hope of taking back all the land Russia has seized.

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was the first to divulge America’s position at a meeting at NATO headquarters in Brussels.

Hegseth told his counterparts gathered in the Belgian capital that Zelenskyy had no chance of achieving his goal of kicking Russian forces out of Crimea and the east of the country and returning Ukraine to its pre-2014 borders.

“Chasing this illusionary goal will only prolong the war and cause more suffering,” Hegseth said.

He then warned that America will be pulling back from its commitments to European security, renouncing the historic role it has played since the end of World War II, and set out a stark vision in which European governments will bear primary responsibility for their own defense — as well as for that of Ukraine.

Soon after, Trump extinguished any hope the cold new reality could be avoided. “I just had a lengthy and highly productive phone call with President Vladimir Putin of Russia,” the U.S. president said in a post on social media.

“We have also agreed to have our respective teams start negotiations immediately, and we will begin by calling President Zelenskyy, of Ukraine, to inform him of the conversation … Millions of people have died in a War that would not have happened if I were President, but it did happen, so it must end. No more lives should be lost!”

Finland is preparing a new military aid package, including investments in the production of heavy armored vehicles (Patria APC's) for Ukraine. The Ukrainian Defence Minister and the Ministry of Defence of Finland have not yet disclosed any details about the armored vehicles in question or the mechanism for financing their production for Ukraine. In Finland, armored vehicles are manufactured by Patria.

Latvia is also supplying Ukraine with Patrias. Patria 6x6 production was launched in Latvia in May 2024. The Valmiera plant will produce 30 Patria 66 (XA-220) armored personnel carriers annually. The first Finnish Patria 6x6 armored personnel carriers produced in Latvia will go to Ukraine, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Baltic Republic. As part of an intergovernmental cooperation program between Finland, Latvia, Sweden, and Germany, on August 30, 2021, Riga signed a joint agreement to purchase Patria 6x6 armored personnel carriers, which includes an order for over 200 armored vehicles.

The felon just blamed Zelenskyy and President Biden for Russia invading and starting the war with Ukraine.

The Netherlands is donating 25 YPR vehicles to Ukraine. This is in addition to the 353 already delivered over 2022-2024. The 25 donated are the YPR-765 PRGWT (Pantser Rups Gewondentransport) model - armoured medical evacuation vehicle (AMEV); unarmed; crew of three plus five passengers; rear compartment has two forward-facing seats on the left, bins for the personal equipment of the wounded on either side, and can hold two stretchers on either side, suspended from chains. The vehicle is equipped with a diesel-heater.

The UK is fronting up with another aid package. This includes drones, tanks (Modernized T72's they got from somewhere apparently) and air defence systems. The UK has also now restarted the manufacture of replacement artillery barrels for Ukraine, to replace those that are worn out from use.

🙄

It is NOT “the Nightstalker MH-60”.

It IS the MH-60 Series Black Hawk M variant USED by the “Nightstalkers” SOAR (A).

Also:

Other units DO fly the MH-60 Series Black Hawk, just not the M variant.)

👍

Maybe if an idiot had phrased it: “The Nightstalker’s (note the apostrophe) MH-60 Series Black Hawk M variant” they could claim "victory"…but alas…

Hope that ^ helps.

No other “units” other than the TF160 fly the MH. I think I know what you’re trying to say, but you’re not coherent…don’t bong hit and post.

Where did the British source these T72 tanks to help the Ukrainian army?

They may have been found in the stockpiles of the Czech Excalibur company or in the storage facilities of other Eastern European countries, such as Romania. According to some reports, as of February 2022, Romania had up to 30 T-72s in storage, which were decommissioned in the 2000s. The current status of these vehicles is unclear, so we should not rule out the possibility that these tanks could still be used to support Ukraine's defense.

According to The Military Balance, Poland currently has no T-72s at all, Bulgaria has approximately 90 T-72M1/M2s (technical condition is unclear), the Czech Republic has 30 T-72M4 CZs (but this country has already given 62 of its tanks to Ukraine and restored 136 T-72AE tanks at its facilities), Hungary has 44 T-72s, while Slovakia has 30 T-72Ms (but these two countries do not provide military assistance to Ukraine).

It does indeed appear that Trump worships Putin.

Has Zelenskyy responded to this?

Of course there's this.....

Chloe. You have an urgent need, you need to immediately take ballroom dancing lessons. Going into reverse and backpedaling as fast as you can is the only option you have to reconcile your idol Trump's new found love for Putin with his betrayal of your best friend Zelensky.

Trump's Maskirovka: this is how it's going to go

Trump makes an offer to Putin that seems to the rest of the world as if he's giving away everything to Putin (except he isn't - it doesn't include things like Zelensky and the non-existent Ukrainian Nazis kicked out, the Ukrainian military reduced to 50k, etc, and an exchange of territory.

Trump makes the world expect a deal. He offers a deal that SEEMS more than reasonable to Russia to the world, but which all of us who study this KNOW that Putin can't / won't take (weakness in negotiating is lethal in Moscow and Putin needs EVERYTHING he has demanded or he looks weak and he CANNOT afford to exchange land for Kursk - that looks weak)

Putin refuses deal.

Trump tells everyone HE made Putin a great offer, a beautiful offer, an extremely fair offer, and Putin refused, so that shows he's not really a nice guy and Trump tried so hard for peace, but now we gotta' give Ukraine every weapon there is and let them smoke Russia like a bad pack of camels.

Ukraine wins war.

And with a few good war-fighters and enough Bradley's, Lynxes, Fuchs, Patrias, CV90's, F16's, Mirages, Blackhawks, 155mm's and drones, why, the 2014 borders would be reasonable.....after all, the Kerch Bridge WILL be dropped and without that bridge, Crimea is toast....

And when Crimea is toasted, Putin is gone like a dingo's breakfast

He will not sell his people out.

French defense company Thales and Ukroboronprom will establish a joint venture in Ukraine.

This was announced by Herman Smetanin, Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine. The newly created company will focus on developing innovative technologies in fields such as air defense systems, radar systems, electronic warfare, as well as tactical communications and optoelectronic systems. The multinational company Thales has many years of experience in the development of radar stations that are also in service in Ukraine, including the Ground Master 200 model, which was donated by France to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense. In addition, the company specializes in the production of optical sights and thermal imagers used in air defense systems, tank fire control systems and other armored vehicles. In addition to the main areas of the French subsidiary, Thales Group companies are engaged in the production of missile weapons, defense systems, and the development of air defense systems, etc. For example, the Belgian branch of Thales Belgium signed a memorandum with Ukraine to organize joint production of 70 mm missiles with a homing head.
