For Those Who Might Be Wondering Why We Might Be In Ukraine

Trump is an absolute fucking scumbag. There's just no other way to put it.

Perhaps the most ignorant statement ever made by a US President on international matters, ever. This is something a Russian might say to cover up the obscenity of what their government is doing.

Trump is a morally rotten piece of shit. And that's being polite.

russia: heavily bombs apartment buildings in Ukraine every night, murdering hundreds of civilians and children
Taco: crickets
Ukraine: attacks military airfields and destroys the bombers that launch missiles every night
Taco: "Russia has a reason to go in and bolbe the hell out of them."

400 kg warhead! Mass production? NOW Ukraine can get serious. That's twice the . payload of an ATACMS - roughly the same as a Tomahawk. Every time I see something like this I'm reminded that Ukraine was the scientific and engineering brain trust of the former Soviet Union. People also forget that Ukraine had a successful orbital launch system, those skills and capabilities exist as they always did, Ukraine was the high tech part of the Soviet Union as well as the industrial powerhouse - as they continue to prove.

"Claimed" range doesn't seem too long at first glance, about Iike an ATACMS... but it's not actually claimed. They just say they TESTED it in combat at almost 300 km. Actual top range: undisclosed.

Russian propaganda is joyfully reposting a video of Trump saying that Ukraine gave Putin a reason to “bomb the hell of them last night” as justification for Russia’s terrorist strikes on Ukrainian civilians. Trump is complicit in enabling putin’s war crimes. Next he’ll claim a nuclear strike is understandable.

The MAGA sheep are extremely excited by Trump’s continuing loyalty to Putin.

So exactly what line is it that Taco is waiting for Russia to cross? Indiscrimate murder of civilians? Executimg POW's? Mass rape and torture of Ukrainians? Kidnapping children by the thousands? Genocide?

President Taco seems very appropriate

BREAKING: Ukraine has stockpiled its own ballistic missiles

On June 6, 2025, Ukraine announced a significant milestone in its defense capabilities, claiming it had built a stockpile of domestically produced ballistic missiles. This development could reshape its ongoing conflict with Russia. The statement, attributed to Ukraine’s defense authorities, follows successful tests of a missile capable of striking targets nearly 300 kilometers away, with mass production now underway. This achievement marks a pivotal step for Kyiv, which has long relied on Western-supplied weapons to counter Moscow’s aggression. The announcement echoed in social media posts on platforms like X, underscores Ukraine’s push to bolster its arsenal amid restrictions on using foreign missiles for deep strikes into Russian territory. As the war enters its fourth year, this new capability could enhance Ukraine’s ability to deter Russian advances and assert greater strategic autonomy.

The missile in question is widely believed to be the Hrim-2, also known as Sapsan in its export variant, a project rooted in Ukraine’s Soviet-era expertise in rocket technology. Developed by the Yuzhnoye Design Bureau and produced by Yuzhmash in Dnipro, the Hrim-2 is a short-range ballistic missile designed for precision strikes. It boasts a range of approximately 280 to 500 kilometers, depending on its configuration, and carries a warhead weighing up to 500 kilograms. The missile’s guidance system likely combines inertial navigation with GPS corrections, enabling it to hit targets with high accuracy. Its mobile launch platform typically mounted on a wheeled chassis, allows for rapid deployment and concealment, making it a challenging target for enemy forces. The Hrim-2’s design draws on decades of Ukrainian engineering, with roots tracing back to the Soviet R-12 and R-16 missiles, which were among the first to carry nuclear warheads. Unlike its predecessors, the Hrim-2 is tailored for conventional warfare, offering Ukraine a tool to strike Russian military infrastructure, command posts, or supply lines at significant distances.

The origins of this milestone lie in Ukraine’s urgent need to reduce its dependence on Western military aid. Since Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022, Kyiv has relied heavily on systems like the U.S.-made Army Tactical Missile System [ATACMS] and the British-French Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles for long-range strikes. However, these weapons come with restrictions, as Western allies, wary of escalation, have limited their use against targets deep inside Russia. “Our long-range capabilities are a clear and effective guarantee of Ukraine’s security,” President Volodymyr Zelensky said on May 2, 2025, emphasizing the need to accelerate domestic missile production. The successful test of a Ukrainian-made ballistic missile, first announced by Zelensky in August 2024, marked a turning point. Oleksii Petrov, director of Spetstechnoexport, later confirmed that flight tests of both cruise and ballistic missiles were yielding positive results, with plans for full-scale production by mid-2025.

The claim of a missile stockpile, as noted in posts on X on June 6, suggests Ukraine has already begun to amass these weapons, though exact numbers remain undisclosed. The development aligns with Ukraine’s broader defense strategy, which has seen a dramatic expansion of its domestic arms industry. In 2024, Ukraine invested over $4 billion in its defense sector, with plans to increase funding in 2025. “Today, according to various estimates, 30 to 40 percent of what our troops use on the frontlines is made in Ukraine,” said Oleksandr Kamyshin, a former Ukrainian defense official, in April 2025. This push has been supported by the ZBROYARI initiative, launched in 2024 to attract Western investment for domestic production. Countries such as the Netherlands, Denmark, and Canada have provided funding to Ukrainian defense firms, enabling the scaling up of missile and drone manufacturing.

The Hrim-2’s capabilities place it in a competitive class of short-range ballistic missiles. For comparison, Russia’s Iskander-M, a mainstay of Moscow’s arsenal, has a range of up to 500 kilometers and carries a warhead of similar weight. The need for foreign components, despite sanctions on Russia, also complicates manufacturing. Yet, Ukraine’s Soviet-era expertise, honed at facilities like Yuzhmash, has provided a foundation for progress. During the Cold War, these plants produced the R-16, the world’s first intercontinental ballistic missile, and the RS-36M, known to NATO as the “Satan” missile, capable of carrying multiple nuclear warheads. This legacy has allowed Ukraine to revive its missile-making capabilities, adapting them to modern warfare needs.

The strategic implications of Ukraine’s missile stockpile are profound. With Russian forces launching thousands of missiles and drones annually—Zelensky reported 27,700 aerial bombs and over 700 missiles in 2025 alone—Kyiv’s ability to retaliate with its own long-range weapons could shift the battlefield dynamics. The Hrim-2’s range allows Ukraine to target Russian military assets in occupied territories or near the border, potentially disrupting supply lines or air operations. Posts on X from June 6 indicate that Ukraine’s strikes on Russian territory will continue, a sentiment echoed by Zelensky’s calls for unrestricted offensive capabilities. The missile’s mobility and precision could also complement Ukraine’s growing fleet of long-range drones, such as the Peklo missile-drone, which Kyiv aims to produce in large numbers by the end of 2025.

The timing of Ukraine’s announcement is notable, coming amid intensified Russian attacks. On June 6, Russian missile and drone strikes on Kharkiv injured 17 people, including two children, underscoring the urgency of Kyiv’s efforts to bolster its defenses. The Hrim-2’s development also reflects a broader trend in Ukraine’s defense industry, which has seen an eightfold increase in missile production since 2022. “We have to achieve that kind of pace,” said Serhiy Zgurets of Defense Express, emphasizing the need for Ukraine to match Russia’s output of 40 to 50 missiles per month. The success of the Hrim-2 could pave the way for other projects, such as the Peklo cruise missile, which entered production in 2024, and advanced drones with artificial intelligence capabilities.

Historically, Ukraine’s missile ambitions have faced setbacks. The Hrim-2 project, initiated in 2006, was stalled by funding shortages and political instability until Russia’s invasion galvanized efforts. A version of the missile was developed for Saudi Arabia in the 2010s, demonstrating its export potential, but domestic production lagged until recent years. The revival of Ukraine’s defense industry, supported by a budget of 775 billion hryvnias [$18.7 billion] for 2025, has enabled rapid progress. Egor Chernev, Ukraine’s representative to NATO, stated on November 3, 2024, that the Hrim-2’s battlefield deployment was imminent, a prediction now seemingly realized with the reported stockpile. The emergence of Ukraine as a missile-producing nation carries broader implications for regional security. By developing its own ballistic missiles, Kyiv is not only enhancing its deterrence but also positioning itself as a potential arms exporter. The Hrim-2’s range and precision could attract interest from countries seeking affordable alternatives to Western or Russian systems.

However, the immediate focus remains on the war with Russia, where the missile’s ability to strike deep targets could alter Moscow’s calculus. As Russian forces continue to rely on North Korean-supplied missiles like the KN-23, which have shown improved accuracy, Ukraine’s need for a robust countermeasure becomes even more critical. nUkraine’s missile stockpile is a testament to its resilience and ingenuity under pressure. The Hrim-2 represents more than a weapon; it embodies Kyiv’s determination to chart its own course in a conflict marked by asymmetry. By building a domestic arsenal, Ukraine is reducing its vulnerability to external political shifts, such as changes in U.S. or European support. Yet, questions linger about the sustainability of this effort. Can Ukraine protect its production facilities from Russian strikes?

Will Western allies continue to fund Kyiv’s ambitions without imposing new restrictions? The answers will shape not only the trajectory of the war but also Ukraine’s role in the global defense landscape. For now, the Hrim-2 stockpile stands as a bold statement: Ukraine is no longer just a recipient of aid but a rising player in the missile race.

BREAKING: Ukraine has stockpiled its own ballistic missiles

I just hope they carry only conventional, chemical explosives. Since Ukraine probably has the ability to manufacture its own nuclear weapons, the danger of nuclear escalation here is entirely too high. I'd hate to see a mushroom cloud over Moscow -- and of course that would be immediately followed by one over Kyiv.

Lets stop this back and forth over nothing.... These separatists ( about 80 % of the population) wanted and were promised autonomy until Maidan happened ( read Victoria Nuland and CIA). After Maidan the new coup d'etat government NOT only refused to discuss autonomy BUT started to persecute all those who complained. I am sure you will find another version of these events.....but really just look at the shit USA/CIA and yes, almost singlehandedly Victoria Nuland has created ....

Here is the list of her " successes" : Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Chechnya, Georgia, Transnistria and Moldova and these are the only ones documented, less documented is, that she had her fingers in just about every shit that happened after 2011 Arab Spring and in Sahelian Belt.

Instead of that cunt being in prison, she is retired with a rich pension.

🙄

Yeah, Victoria Nuland was "THE One" / "THE Problem".

😑

Putin, Saddam, Al Qaeda, The Taliban, Iran & its proxies, ISIS, ethnic tribalism, various criminal networks in eastern AND western Europe, clandestine forces / alliances dedicated to the destruction of America & "The West", etc, etc, etc, had NOTHING to do with all the chaos, destruction, and bloodshed in the world…

😑

🤬

Victoria Nuland was / is an American patriot who acted in the interests of; America; free world values; human rights, and the rule of law.

Victoria Nuland was "better" than her counterparts by a country mile: It isn’t even close.

👍

🇺🇸

Side note:

I always get a laugh out of posters who bash America (and individual Americans) IN GREAT DETAIL for its role in geopolitical conflicts, but INVARIABLY FAIL to apply the same rigor & vigor to their examinations & condemnations of America’s adversaries in those same geopolitical conflicts…

GTFOH

FOAD

TIA

There can be no compromise peace in this war -- the belligerents' demands are irreconcileable. And neither side has the capacity to decisively defeat the other. This war will go on until Putin gets tired of it.

Itd be the other way around I would expect.

And Ukraine is not in a position to put together convention nukes right now - they scrapped all that as part of the Budapest agreement on which Trump has reneged.

More likely to be a dirty bomb. Just as good for deterrent tho. 500kg of radioactive dust sprayed over Moscow would do the job nicely.

Stupid idea that would let Russia do whatever it wanted as the rest of the world walks away from Ukraine.

The ONLY reason NATO is supporting Ukraine is because they're the victim/underdog of Russian aggression. Irradiate Moscow or any other part of Russia and that changes immediately.

Deterrrance. Russia fires a nuke at Ukraoine. Ukraine top dresses Moscow and St Petersburg.

And another little surprise for Russia....seems Ukraine may have just done it again. Russians saying a grain train opened up and drones popped out, destroyed an entire locomotive, 13 tanks, armored vehicles etc..
It’s being reported that the attack resulted in the destruction of roughly a regiment sized unit worth of equipment. It appears the strike was carried out through a covert operation involving grain hopper cars on the train. At a key moment, the hatches of these grain containers unexpectedly opened, revealing Ukrainian drones hidden inside. These drones launched an attack on the lead locomotive, disabling it and bringing the entire train to a halt. They then shifted focus to targeting equipment loaded on nearby flat cars.

Ukraine Southern Forces Command claims Russian Equipment Losses:

1x Railway Locomotive
13x Tanks
7x Artillery Systems
103x Units of Automotive and Armored Equipment
10x Fuel Tank Cars, carrying an estimated 158,000–172,000 gallons of fuel

If anyone has more information about this then please let drop information in the comments below.
