PumpkinSmasher and I traveled to St. Louis for our honeymoon. We did a little bit of sight seeing. One of our favorite spots that has meant so much is the Union Station Mall. We spent the majority of the day there. During our visit, we ran upon a clown performing balloon sculptures for the children surrrounding her. Pumpkin waited until all the children had been satisfied and asked the clown for something for two lovebirds, and this is what she came up with.

SO, to you my two friends, I toast you with this sacred heart of committment, fidelity and friendship. All the best...

I am a newcomer to Lit and have seen little of your romance, but I have seen enough to know that what you have is something very special.

For your lovenest I bring three things.

1) A second hand copy of the "Joy of Cooking", 1970 edition or earlier. It is the best general cookbook I know and good food is essential to a good life. It covers everything from boiling water to preparing a standing rib roast, in understandable language.

2) and 3) I give you each a "Please forgive me" coupon. Everyone does amazingly stupid actions at some time or the other. Typically the worst of these are directed at those we love most. You each have one coupon. Use it only when you really need to. The recipient must forgive the giver without question and without further comment or other repercussions. You have only one coupon. Do not spend it unwisely.

I honestly don't know what to say with your overwhelming thoughtfullness! What beautiful things, words and songs!!

I am finally getting back into LIT again, and what a fantastic surprise to find this thread, filled with so many of our LIT friends/family!

It's been a month now since I landed in Oman's arms, and although there is still so much to get through (unpacking and organizing), this has been the best thing I have ever done.

I am appreciating each and every day now, and although the adjustments sometimes seem tremendous, Oman is right HERE to assure me that things will eventually be much smoother.

I am so happy to be home!

Not many pics, but my curent AV shows off our new little "baby"!
