We've had a dreadful start to growing season. Cold and wet. My strawberries are ripening at half the size the size they should be.

All the berries seem to be about a month behind here. The early spring then short cool down tricked them I think.

Got some cherry tomatoes, corn, cucumbers this morning. Green beans should be ready in couple weeks. Got a butt load of onions soon. They didn't come up last year.

They look amazing!

All of our stuff is just starting to flower: tomatoes, pumpkins, gourds, and zucchini

The veggies need extra watering right now. We’ve been in a pretty intense heat wave for New Jersey. 90+ for the last few days, and for the next couple of days.

That wouldn’t be unusual for July or August, but it’s quite unusual for mid June.

Watering as soon as the sun goes down or very early in the morning these days

That LOOKS good, but I dunno if that is my speed!

I like peppers that are slightly hot, but not ones that will make me hate myself!

Very pretty. Like lilies and their constant bloom all summer. Now there's a purple d'oro daylily.

Yes. It’s my favorite perennial, called coreopsis Sunfire.

They bloom from June through early September. I love them too.

It honestly doesn't have much flavor, but it's lovely to look at. The other pepper pictured with the petunias has a long as name.. It's pretty and tastes quite nice.

A small one. I only use it in mid/late spring and late fall/early winter.

We have those at my store, people love them as ornamental peppers almost.

Sage is cut back so the smell is divine, the buddleia will be out soon and a lot of the rest is on the way.

A few were ready for their close-up, if you're interested.
