So, this is gonna sound stupid. How did the flowers and therefore the peppers get pollinated so they grow fruit?
Are there male and female flowers?
I know with pumpkins, there are definite and different male and female flowers, and your dependent on insects to bring male pollen to the female flowerto pollinate them.
Do you put them outside at some point?
Are there bees or other insects in the greenhouse to fertilize them?
I know with pumpkin, sometimes we hand fertilize them with a Q-tip, taking pollen from male flowers and putting them on the female flowers, just to make sure.
Sorry for all the questions, I’m just genuinely curious.
I’m taking a short lunch break while I finish cleaning out some of our garden beds. It is a nice warm day, but I think it’s gonna thunderstorm later.
