If people aren’t watching Last of Us after that episode on Sunday, this might not be the thread for you. No judgment but that show is trending so well.

But, I must insist.

I was never a huge fan of GURPS, though Iid and do so play a lot of Champions/Heo System. Both can be hard sells though, the math can look tougher than it is.
GURPS was, and still is, a great basic system to go into endless offshoots. I don't get to run it nearly as much now of course. But I have so any fond memories of it and all my old books. Champions was a bit more fiddly with the powers/flaws balance but you could get really creative with it too! That was half the fun, how to make an interesting powerful hero and balance those pints with flaw or limits that made it even more interesting.

At a time when game systems seem to be getting simpler and less engaging - how long before a d20 is replaced by a coin toss? - I still enjoy the variety of build and character that Hero System /Champions allows. I could never get passed the broken probabilities of the 3d6 curve in GURPS though, which makes no sense, is the same curve in Hero. 🤷‍♂️

I made The Menu cheeseburger from this dude. I know my way around making cheeseburgers but there were some specific, different nuances to it that I tried that made it amazing. Did he also do the Birds of Prey breakfast sandwich? Cuz I did that too. Nomnomnom

Destiny2 Lightfall. No spoilers... bu...well...that was sure an expansion that I paid my hard earned money for.

ok So this season of Mando has not been great for me. I had hoped it would be more in line with the previous seasons, but it feels like Disney is pushing to have their sequel trilogy canon reinforced.

I haven’t watched episode 4 yet, but 3 was kind of a mess. You could see all along the Comms officer was up to something grim and it just dragged. I’m still committed but yeah, feels like we are working a little too hard to set up first order

I am just shy of grudge watching. 4 is a bit of a redemption but lord there are plot holes and my suspension of disbelieve is stretched thin. It even offended my sense of spacial awareness. And I don't know that I have ever said that about anything.
