I don't recognise it but it looks amazing. Also distracted by your mouse! Do you find it easy to use?
Gosh yes.

I sit at my desk pretty much 24/7 because of my job and hobbies.

I went through a period of bad wrist issues and had to seek medical help. The main suggestion was changing the mouse.

It took a few days to get use to it, now its second nature and I've not really had any issues since.

I'm nosey. You've had a hard day and you have time to play games to de-stress.

What do you play and why?
By hard day, so you stressful? If I do I generally fire up something aggressive and bloody and take my anger out on digital innocents.

Mordhau is good for that.

I haven't watched it yet. I was unsure about the other one after season 1 🤷🏼‍♀️
Oh yeah its fun and awesome. Definitely worth a look.
I'm seeing it Saturday! I can't wait. I'm glad you've enjoyed it!!!
Yeah check it out so we can gush over it together 🥰

That was yesterday for me actually. Lol. ;) Usually I play GTA Online and do some missions. It's a lot of fun. The GTA universe is so goofy and surreal. The crazy characters and products and companies with the goofy names that feel like they were written by a 14 year old. Plus Bootsy Collins has a radio station. It's just nuts and fun.

If I'm de-stressing then I'm going back and replaying old familiars. Any of the SimCity or Civilization games are likely. Or something repetitive that I don't have to think about too much, like Katamari Damacy or a sports game like FIFA or Madden. I'll save the newer games that I'm still playing the first time through for times when I'm not trying to shut my brain down.

I tend not to re-play things. I've been de-stressing lately by playing Tears of the Kingdom. I could see myself doing a quick Hades run or two if I needed to de-stress though.

Animal Crossing is a great way to relax. After I had surgery, followed by covid, followed by a mouth abcess (cos my immunity was trashed) last year my sister got it for me and it really cheered me up.

I played it every day for almost two straight years. Got pretty serious about which villagers were on my island. Now I hardly remember who I had...

@RosewoodTulip I keep forgetting about Animal Crossing! I'll try to keep my hands out of my pants next time I'm stressed and play that instead 🙈
I recommend it too! But you can still keep your hand in your pants if you want to. :)

What's your favourite game/film/TV show? What releases are you looking forward to? Do you have a game subscription that is getting over/under used?

Let's not forget about literature (books/comics/graphic novels etc.) or even the amazing artwork that comes out of these things!

(There was a thread that went *poof* a while back and I haven't seen any others pop up like it)

I'll start: I still haven't finished The Witcher. I've been ill but slowly getting back to normal...maybe I'll have the energy to sit and play again soon.
I'm a retro gamer at heart, and Mega Man is one of my favorite franchises. My favorite flick is Robocop, though I'll admit I mostly watch horror films these days. Currently I'm watching Dragon Quest the Adventures of Dai on Hulu because I'm a dragon quest fan and anime fan, but after that who knows.

Oh yeah, LOVE me some RoboCop. Always happy to rewatch it. And quote the fuck out of it. :p

Last year was a great year for horror movies. Terrifier 2 was wild. I'm curious about the new Exorcist movies coming up.

Nuh-uh, no way! I take my island very seriously, requires two hands and full concentration!!

Same here, in fact one of the Mega Man Maker stages I made was a quote from Robocop (Can you Fly, Bobby).

Terrifier 2 was wild, and I enjoyed the hell out of it (I'm a gorehound so it checked a lot of my boxes). I haven't watched the trailer for the new exorcist yet, but I hope it comes good. Btw love the profile pic

Haha thanks! Very few have caught the movie poster. So good eye ;)

But yeah Terrifier 2 was crazy and awesome. They went apeshit with the practical effects gore. Plus Art the Clown is just such a great horror character. The laundromat scene always cracks me up. As does the Clown Cafe scene. Absolutely not for everyone but I loved it.

Ok well that's the next question!

Which game do you keep going back to? No matter how much you want to, you can't quit it?

Mine is Civilization. Just one...more....turn.....

The movie really takes you on a rollercoaster ride with both laughs and violence. Art is a fantastic horror character and I look forward to the next entry in the series
