So, finally watched Terminator: Dark Fate. Bitter sweet, but better than Genysis.

Let's just stop there eh? No need to rehash it now.

Lol yeah, as much as I love it, we're definitely good with anything Terminator for awhile.

I rewatched Genysis recently and it wasn't as horrible as I remember. It was entertaining. Arnie was good and I really like that Danerys chick. Although it feels like one of those 90's made for video movies we used to see all the time at Blockbuster.

Yep, I had never head of Baldur's Gate until yesterday... I don't play DnD but I have watched/listened to a guild of players for a couple years now and it's an interesting game.

I'll definitely watch some videos and see if it's something I could get into. I like fantasy games so maybe...

I bought into the prerelease years ago. Been waiting for this release for a very long time! Ready to download it Thursday and jump right in! I am also excited about the multiplayer options.

Yep, I had never head of Baldur's Gate until yesterday... I don't play DnD but I have watched/listened to a guild of players for a couple years now and it's an interesting game.

I'll definitely watch some videos and see if it's something I could get into. I like fantasy games so maybe...

From what I have played and read, this could be the top video rpg ever! Other companies are complaining about how much work Larian Studios have put into it.

I think it's just lazy film making. It's like all the remakes of live action films...

You have a story you know is popular, so you don't have as much development to do, and the risk is less. It's film making by numbers, which leads to dull films from dull people.

Stories like Maleficent are great because they add to the story, not just rehash it

I think another big problem is they try to force their political beliefs on everyone that watches. I want to be entertained not indoctrinated.

And when they don't get the casting just right...some of us grew up with those movies so we have very specific views on which actors should be cast...

I don't watch TV or very many new movies.
But I do play PC games. Currently playing a lot of 7days and trying to convince myself to wrap up RDR2, then I plan to restart Skyrim...or just restart RDR2 lol.... My guilty pleasure game is probably the Farming Simulator. I buy the new one every couple years and download hundreds of mods...A great way to relax and chill.

I honestly don't know how to complete that game!! Also have RDR2 on my "to play" list...still going on The Witcher

I think it's right they put effort in. Too many things are released early and "hot fixed" , which I dislike. I was a bit skeptical as they put it on early access last year though. Like, it makes me wonder about how their finances are when big games do that

yeah, I got a late start on Skyrim and never finished. Then I moved, then got RDR2, then when I built my current PC early this year I decided I would just clean-start Skyrim after RDR2. But I know the next step in my RDR2 journey and am just procrastinating and enjoying living in the game world.... but I'll push forward eventually.

ETA... RDR2 is a great game. The world is so cool and the characters and NPCs, and there's highs and lows in the story instead of you just being the superhero protag as usual. It's nice

For sure. I started RDROnline but didn't play much. I should get back to it. But like GTA, so much of it forces teamwork and multiplayer shit. I don't like people and just want to play solo.... So I got tired of GTA Online pretty quickly.

I play online games with strong solo play, because that's mostly how I roll!

I watch a lot of multiplayer folks on Youtube and Twitch. And it's fun with friends or a SO... But I have neither, so I prefer solo.

My coworkers are still playing Minecraft and I've considered joining their server but haven't. Though we had 7days server for bit with just us. It was good fun, but they eventually lost interest

I loved Marian Keyes reading Richard Osman's first two books, and I'm still an absolute sucker for Stephen Fry's reading of the Potter books.

unfortunately, my memory has really pushed me to stop reading. On the one hand, I don't remember the previous chapters when reading... on the other, I can watch/read/listen to the same book/movie/podcast and it's always good.
