Well, then yours would be the best one to climb in to. But as you say, there's no reason to climb in. Unless you just make me so hot, I have no other choice but that.

the temp does get very warm around here at times :)

gator I could see you doing this

This is just too funny!!! to not pass on.

The Perfect Super Bowl Seat!

Bob received a free ticket to the Superbowl from his company.
Unfortunately, when Bob arrived at the stadium he realized the seat was in
the last row in the corner of the stadium. He was closer to the Goodyear
Blimp than the field!

About halfway through the first quarter, Bob noticed an empty seat 10 rows
off the field right on the 50-yard line. He decided to take a chance and
made his way through the stadium and around the security guards to the
empty seat.

As he sat down, he asked the gentleman sitting next to him, "Excuse me, is
anyone sitting here?"

The man said "No."

Very excited to be in such a great seat for the game, Bob said to the man
next to him, "This is incredible! Who in their right mind would have a
seat like this at the Superbowl and not use it?!"

The man replied, "Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. I was supposed
to come with my wife, but she passed away. This is the first Superbowl we
haven't been to together since we got married in 1967."

"That's really sad," said Bob, "But still, couldn't you find someone to
take the seat? A relative or a close friend?"

"No," the man replied, "They're all at the funeral."

Bama.. you are probably correct.... no activities on game day or on race day!!! LOL

Why We Love Children

1. A kindergarten pupil told his teacher he'd found a cat, but it was dead.

"How do you know that the cat was dead?" she asked her pupil.

"Because I pissed in its ear and it didn't move," answered the child innocently.

You did WHAT ? ! ?" the teacher exclaimed in surprise.

"You know,"explained the boy, "I leaned over and went 'Pssst!' and it didn't move."

2. A small boy is sent to bed by his father.

Five minutes later....."Da-ad...."

"What?"

"I'm thirsty. Can you bring drink of water?"

"No, You had your chance. Lights out."

Five minutes later: "Da-aaaad....."

"WHAT?"

"I'm THIRSTY. Can I have a drink of water??"

I told you NO! If you ask again, I'll have to spank you!!"

Five minutes later......"Daaaa-aaaad....."

"WHAT!"

"When you come in to spank me, can you bring a drink of water?"

3. An exasperated mother, whose son was always getting into mischief, finally asked him "How do you expect to get into Heaven?"

The boy thought it over and said,
"Well, I'll run in and out and in and out and keep slamming the door until St. Peter says, 'For Heaven's sake, Dylan, come in or stay out!'"

4. One summer evening during a violent thunderstorm a mother was tucking her son into bed. She was about to turn off the light when he asked with a tremor in his voice, "Mommy, will you sleep with me tonight?"

The mother smiled and gave him a reassuring hug. "I can't dear," she said. "I have to sleep in Daddy's room."

A long silence was broken at last by his shaky little voice: "The big sissy."

5. It was that time, during the Sunday morning service, for the children's sermon. All the children were invited to come forward. One little girl was wearing a particularly pretty dress and, as she sat down, the pastor leaned over and said,

"That is a very pretty dress. Is it your Easter Dress?"

The little girl replied, directly into the pastor's clip-on microphone, "Yes, and my Mom says it's a bitch to iron."

6 When I was six months pregnant with my third child, my three year old came into the room when I was just getting ready to get into the shower.

She said, "Mommy, you are getting fat!"

I replied, "Yes, honey, remember Mommy has a baby growing in her tummy."

"I know," she replied, but what's growing in your butt?"

7 A little boy was doing his math homework. He said to himself, "Two plus five, that son of a bitch is seven.

Three plus six, that son of a bitch is nine...."

His mother heard what he was saying and gasped, "What are you doing?"

The little boy answered, "I'm doing my math homework, Mom."

"And this is how your teacher taught you to do it?" the mother asked.

"Yes," he answered.

Infuriated, the mother asked the teacher the next day, "What are you teaching my son in math?"

The teacher replied, "Right now, we are learning addition."

The mother asked, "And are you teaching them to say two plus two, that son of a bitch is four?"

After the teacher stopped laughing, she answered, "What I taught them was, two plus two, THE SUM OF WHICH, is four."

8. One day the first grade teacher was reading the story of Chicken Little to her class. She came to the part of the story where Chicken Little tried
to warn the farmer. She read, ".... and so Chicken
Little went up to the farmer and said, "The sky is falling, the sky is falling!"

The teacher paused then asked the class,
"And what do you think that farmer said?"

One little girl raised her hand and said,
"I think he said: 'Holy Shit! A talking chicken!'"

The teacher was unable to teach for the next 10 minutes.

9. A certain little girl, when asked her name, would reply, "I'm Mr. Sugarbrown's daughter."

Her mother told her this was wrong, she must say, "I'm Jane Sugarbrown."

The Vicar spoke to her in Sunday School, and said, "Aren't you Mr. Sugarbrown's daughter?"

She replied, "I thought I was, but mother says I'm not."

10 A little girl asked her mother, "Can I go outside and play with the boys?"

Her mother replied, "No, you can't play with the boys, they're too rough."

The little girl thought about it for a few moments and asked, "If I can find a smooth one, can I play with him?"

11. A little girl goes to the barber shop with her father. She stands next to the barber chair, while her dad gets his hair cut, eating a snack cake
The barber says to her, "Sweetheart, you're gonna get hair on your Twinkie."

She says, "Yes, I know, and I'm gonna get boobs too."

Morning all,

Hope everyone had a good week. Finally the end is here. I know I'm looking forward to the weekend.

Gator, how is it you never seem to be on when I am. what the hell is your schedule.

Hey Silver, glad to see you're still out there. I know you're pretty busy, but dont forget where we live.

Hey Bama, Thank you for the funny stuff. I do enjoy reading all your posts.

Mornig sunshine, Don't get to talk to you much anymore. I miss your sweet words of wisdom to this little boy. You always had something good to say about life. Thank you for bringing my attitude on life, a little farther up the importance ladder. You don't know just how good a counselor you really are. I think I might need another session, just to make it sink in.

GG, hope your day goes well. Try and take a little time for Dawn today. I know how busy you can get. Remember, it's the little things that make us who we are.

Everyone please have a great day.
Jay

good morning everyone :)

Jay I am glad that everyone likes them its nice to know I can put a smile on your face ;)

hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Good morning everyone, I hope ya'll have great days. I know it has seemed I've become the Wal Mart greeter of the thread, I pop in say hello and then I'm gone. In time I'll get back in the groove, still not typing much. I wanted to share this one, its a favorite of mine that I've held onto for quite a while for those times when I need a giggle.

ME: Hello.
AT&T: Hello, this is AT&T ...
ME: Is this AT&T?
AT&T: Yes, this is AT&T ....
ME: This is AT&T?
AT&T: Yes, this is AT&T ....
ME: Is this AT&T?
AT&T: Yes! This is AT&T, may I speak to Mr.Byron, please?
ME: May I ask who is calling?
AT&T: This is AT&T.
ME: Ok, hold on.

At this point I put the phone down for a solid 5 minutes thinking that, surely, this person would have hung up the phone. I ate my salad. Much to my surprise, when I picked up the receiver, they were still waiting.

ME: Hello?
AT&T: Is this Mr. Byron?
ME: May I ask who is calling, please?
AT&T: Yes, this is AT&T ...
ME: This is AT&T?
AT&T: Yes, this is AT&T ...
ME: The phone company?
AT&T: Yes, sir.
ME: I thought you said this was AT&T.
AT&T: Yes, sir, we are a phone company.
ME: I already have a phone.

AT&T: We aren't selling phones today, Mr. Byron. We would like to offer you 10 cents a minute, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
ME: Now, that's 10 cents a minute, 24 hours a day?
AT&T: (getting a little excited at this point by my interest) Yes, sir,
that's right! 24 hours a day!
ME: 7 days a week?
AT&T: That's right.
ME: 365 days a year?
AT&T: Yes, sir.

ME: I am definitely interested in that! Wow!!! That is amazing!
AT&T: We think so!
ME: That's quite a sum of money!
AT&T: Yes, sir, it's amazing how it adds up.

ME: Ok, so will you send me checks weekly, monthly or just one big one at the end of the year for the full $52,560; and if you send an annual check, can I get a cash advance?
AT&T: Excuse me?
ME: You know, the 10 cents a minute.
AT&T: What are you talking about?
ME: You said you would give me 10 cents a minute, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. That comes to $144 per day, $1008 per week and $52,560 per year. I am just interested in knowing how you will be making payment.

AT&T: Oh, no, sir. I didn't mean we would be paying you. You pay us 10 cents a minute.
ME: Wait a minute, how do you figure that by saying that you will give me 10 cents a minute, that I'll give YOU 10 cents a minute?
Is this some kind of subliminal telemarketing scheme? I have read about things like this in the Enquirer, you know.
AT&T: No, sir, we are offering 10 cents a minute for ...

ME: THERE YOU GO AGAIN! Can I speak to a supervisor please?
AT&T: Sir, I don't think that is necessary.
ME: I insist on speaking to a supervisor!
AT&T: Yes, Mr. Byron. Please hold.
At this point, I begin trying to finish my dinner.

SUPERVISOR: Mr. Byron?
ME: Yeth?
SUPERVISOR: I understand you are not quite understanding our 10 cents a minute program.

ME: Is This A T & T?
SUPERVISOR: Yes, sir, it sure is.
ME: (I had to swallow before I choked on my food. It was all I could do to suppress my laughter and I had to be careful not to produce a snort.) No, actually, I was just waiting for someone to get back to me so that I could sign up for the plan.
SUPERVISOR: Ok, no problem, I'll transfer you back to the person who was helping you.
ME: Thank you.

I was on hold once again and managed a few more mouthfuls. I need to end this conversation. Suddenly, there was an aggravated but polite voice at the other end of the phone.
AT&T: Hello, Mr. Byron, I understand that you are interested in signing up for our plan?
ME: No, but I was wondering - do you have that "Friends and Family" thing because I'm an only child and I'd really like to have a little brother...

AT&T: click........
