I think archeology is a wonderfull thing, I would love the practice part, working in a place like Chichen Iza in Mexico or something similar would be great but please without tourists.
...or walking the paths of the old babyloniens, ok at this time I wouldn´t think about a journey down there.

Ok I have to admit I love history, but often more the mystical parts...

i did a course in my last year on "death and the dead" in mediaeval europe. was really cool to learn all the stuff about ancient believe in ghosts, dying, purgatory, hell, sin and "how to die"

I once read Dante´s "La Divina Comedia" and I have to say his version of purgatory, hell and sin... everybody should hope he was wrong. The sad think was that so many people in medieval europe believed in this version.

i can recommed a book called "The Place of the Dead" (ed. Gordon & Marshall). It deals with all aspects of death and the dead in late mediaeval and early modern europe and it is bloody good read, too.

Since Iam here by invitation this time ,Iam kind of curious where you live! It says old Europa,does that mean you travel a lot or do you have a specific Place you call Home ?
I was born in Germany,Freital by Dresden but came here when I was very young thats whyI still know German which is actually quite suprising since I dont use it that often.But ever since Iam on the Net I have been writing more e-Mail over there and
besides Relatives have some (normal)e-Mail friends as well.

I see it has been HOT over there as well,what do you do to cool off?
