Getting packages delivered to the post office?

Hey guys. My vibe's to big for me so I've found that, as the rabbit is great on it. I otherwise can't use it, and am interested in new toys. But right now, I can't get to any toy stores and I don't want to risk my parents getting a package in the mail. They'll ask me if they can see whats in it, and sense i usually show off what I buy because I think it's kool, they'll know if I don't show and that'd be so akward>< So I was wondering if there was any way that I could buy toys online and they be delivered to the post office for me to pick up rather than being put in my mail box or delivered to my door?

I live way out in the country and I don't know anyone at the post office, so I'm safe there. But I pay with paypal, and so the shipping address is written down there. Do I just write down the post iffice's address with my name still?

Here you go. You can call your local post office and get the info on whether or not they're a general delivery location, how it should be addressed, etc.

You should be able to send the package to a different shipping address than your billing address. Make sure you clarify this when you order, and you can even contact the retailer to clarify what you need them to do.

Order your toys from Amazon and add a book and/or a CD or two to your order. You can show off the books and keep the other item(s) a secret.

VERY good advice. I have specified a different
ship-to address than the billing address and I
STILL received the package at my billing address.
Since I was leaving for work before the delivery
truck would usually reach my neighborhood, I
didn't want the package sitting on my front step
for a half of a day (I would usually be gone from
1pm until 1am and deliveries were usually around
2pm). DEFINATELY best to correspond with the
shipper and make sure that they understand how
you want the package addressed and that they
are willing to ship to an "alternate" address. Now
that I am "retired", at least for now, it isn't so
much of a problem (plus I have most packages
delivered to my PO Box, but that isn't an option
for occasional packages).

Gift giving time is coming soon. Can you ask a friend if you can have a package delivered to their address pretending it is a gift for your parents? Or can you tell your parents you ordered a gift for them and to not open any packages?

You can also spring for a PO Box and have it sent there. They're not very expensive.

Shipping address can be different to home address. Its a good tool to employ.

Wow, that must be a huge rabbit vibe you bought. Seemed like a good idea at the time, right? Hang on to it though. Some day it will fit. Trust me. They don't vibrate, of course, but it can be alot of fun finding regular household items to do the job. And the produce aisle at the grocery store has a suprising number of useful items. Maybe its time to go pick up some groceries.
