Trump is a real enthusiast for tariffs and other trade barriers just like the EU, Farage on the other hand is more of a free-market, free-trade Thatcherite. I only really see him intervening in markets when there's a national security implication like steel, energy security, food security, ...

Trump also had a massive tantrum about losing a democratic vote and made up all sorts of ridiculous fairy tales as to why he lost, just like the remoaners did after losing the Brexit vote.

Just because Trump and Farage are personal friends doesn't mean they agree on every issue as we can see with Starmer's ridiculous Chagos Islands surrender. Farage is completely against it and thought Trump would block it but he didn't.

Now, let's pretend being in the EU was actually good for the UK economy ( even though all the empirical data suggests the EU actually was/is an economy wrecking machine ), what's your price for surrendering UK democracy?
