As Emily stood behind him, he continued speaking with Albus. "It involves You-Know-Who." he said. Albus immediately stood up and led the tow of them to his office. As they entered through the rotating gargoyle, Severus whispered to Emily. "Listen, I am going to tell Albus all we have learned, and then he will decide our next move. If he says do nothing, we shall do nothing. Got that?"

She walked beside him and listened to him "Severus your not talking to a child here remember, I certainly didn't go on ahead to get professor moody out now did I?" She said very very lowly for only Severus to hear. She made her point and nodded to him, and walked beside Severus.

They finally reached Albus' desk. He sat down behind it, and motioned for us to sit. Severus and Emily grabbed 2 chairs and sat down. "So, what is it you must tell me?" Albus asked. Severus motioned for Emily to speak.

She didn't think she would be the one doing the talking, but first thing was first. She remembered to call him Albus when it was staff only, looking around she was on high alert. "We do have to very important matters to discuss Albus, one is about Vold..." She cleared her throat. "He who must not be named" She corrected quickly. "I believe that he is back and gaining strength and allies as we speak"

Albus heard what she said, and nodded. "Go on. Is that all you have to say?" he asked. Severus wasn't too amazed at how Albus had taken it, he had probably figured that out by now, one way or the other. Severus spoke up this time. "We also believe that You-Know-Who has captured Mad Eye and has sent Barty Jr in his place, using Polyjuice Potion."

She looked over at Severus and nodded "I sensed it wasn't the true professor, I know it was a long stretch since Ive never met Professor Moody. If Severus didn't know me as well as he has, I don't even think he would have believed me. But I know for a fact were the real Professor Moody is right now, I found him using a spell of mine. I have wanted to act and get him out immediately, but I also saw the wisdom that Severus has discussed with me so that is why Ive not acted. Till telling you know, I can easily reveal his true form no matter how much of that juice he has consumed" There was a price to that to, it would drain her but she wouldn't tell them that.

Albus heard what they said. "Obviously, Barty will at a point bring the real Mad Eye to Hogwarts. We shall wait until that moment before we act, not before. A, I clear?" he asked, rising from his seat. Severus nodded, and Albus then turned to Emily to see her response.

Standing up after Albus did she sighed some "I will do as you order Albus but I don't honestly think Barty will. There is one more thing" Looking at Severus "Cedric is slated to die Albus, an attack will happen at this tournament"

Albus was more worried about this last part. "Are you absolutely sure? We can't cancel the Tournament, he can't leave it, thenonly thing to do would be put protective charms on him, but that isn't allowed. We can't do anything. If we wan him, his death shall be certain. There is nothing we can do." he sighed, sitting back down, thinking about this.

 

[Mayu]

Looking down for a moment she nodded "I am very sure about this Albus if I wasn't certain about it I never would have mentioned it" She said simply sighing a bit. Rubbing the back of her neck she looked over at Severus sighing a bit. "And there is nothing I can do unfortunately"

His face turned grim. "Than, we shouldn't do anything, just be on our guard. Try to prevent Barty from making contact with the champions. If you see him and a champion together, immediately intervene. Understand?" he asked them. At this Severus nodded.

 

[Mayu]

Listing to him she nodded "Ive not let Barty alone with Harry not since he ordered me to watch out for him, did an invisibility spell and watched them. Harry wont be hurt and neither will Professor Moody"

Both Albus and Seveurs were a bit reassured. "But remember, all the champions must be safe, not just Harry." he reminded them. H then stood up, and lead them out of his office. "If you will excuse me I must speak to somebody else." he explained to them. As they left his office, Severus took Emily's hand and walked off to their room.

She nodded some "Of course Albus" She said and walked beside him, thinking for a moment. When they got back to there room she removed her cloak and looked outside the window, something was slowly coming to light. "I think there is something more going on here" She said softly, remembering certain things that were told to her from Severus himself and Albus. "Before you Life was so simple, but it was the simplicity I didn't want. Ive always been up to a challenge, I've always found challenges in life."

She said simply looking at him "Meeting you I do not think was by chance, your spirit reached out for someone that would listen to it. Someone who would find beauty even in the most horrible situation. You do have a beautiful light in you Severus, it's not all black. You made yourself cold because you didn't want to love, you didn't want to be hurt the way you were as a kid. We both have been hurt, I am not saying my life was as hard as yours. Because I know better, I think your mother would be proud of you"

Walking up to him she smiled "Willing to protect a boy with your life, that is a noble act. We both have skills over other peoples minds, but I see beyond a persons mind. Since I never read minds unless I have no choice, rather a person is dying. In a coma, lost to the outside world. Seeing the things Ive seen you learn to appreciate every day life gives you. But I also fear Albus has a plan for Harry the way he talks about him, how he is indifferent. Albus puts a lot of pressure on you Severus, but it isn't a burden you carry alone"

He smiled. "It is a burden I chose to take. I deserve it. I caused Harry to be the chosen one. It could have been Neville Longbottom, but I caused it to be Harry. I caused his parents death, I caused all of this. This burden is one I deserve and chose to carry." He sighed. "Come on, let's take a nap. We have no classes today. Let's sleep til lunch."

She looked at him lovingly and held onto his shoulder "You are willing to die for the child, our child will always know there daddy really was a good man" She said with a smile and removed her shoes and laid down on the bed, pulling him beside her and resting her head on his chest, as she vowed to not let him die. She could track him and Voldemort wouldn't get him.

Day of the Yule Ball

"Emily, wake up! We Must get ready for the ball today!" Severus said, waking Emily. He was also excited for the upcoming vacation. They had encoded that they would get married during Christmas Break, and here it was! He got out of bed, and get completely ready, all before Emily had woken up! "Come on, there's a lot to do today!" he said, shaking her slightly.

She moaned a bit and slowly opened up her eyes "Severus" Slowly sitting up she ran her fingers in her hair and looked up at him. "Ive never seen you so happy, well besides me agreeing to be your assistant" she chuckled happily and slowly got up and stretched a bit. "you just want to see me in a dress" She laughed.

He grinned. "Of course I do! This will probably be the only time, aside from the wedding, that I will see you in a dress!" he exclaimed. "Now hurry up and get ready! We still have a full day ahead of us before the Ball!" he said. He put the kettle on the stove, preparing some tea.

She sighed a bit rolled her eyes and laughed a bit "Your just lucky I bought a dress in London a few days ago without you knowing about it" She said with a chuckle and got ready for the day, thinking about what today would bring she was excited and very happy. Once she was dressed for the day she just allowed her true stomach hide behind the clothing, but then she started to giggle.

He chuckled a bit. "What's so funny?" he asked cheerfully. He walked to the door, opening it and motioning for them to exit the room. As they exited, he asked again. "What's so funny?" he asked.

She was about four or five months pregnant and looked up at him chuckling happily. "Sorry Severus it's not you" Taking his hand and placed it on her stomach. The baby was kicking like crazy. "It's just the baby when the baby moves feels like butterflies in my stomach, it tickles at times. I wish I knew how far along I am exactly Ive been guessing four or five months. Is there a doctor I can go to Severus? I mean in the muggle world maybe it would be safer? I just want to get checked out make sure the baby is alright. When the baby was conceived"

He smiled. "Well, I guess that means the baby is alive and well. Now remember, let's be careful about what we say when in public. You now who already knows we're together, let's not give him more things to use against us." he reminded her. Severus wished that eventually he could just be completely open with his feelings for Emily to everyone, but right now he couldn't afford to be.

She listened to him taken back and nodded "I know Severus and no one is here, which is why I spoke openly trust me. I'm not going to say anything when I know other people are around, I am not completely stupid" She squeezed his arm and smiled. "but any way let's get going, tell me Severus can you dance?" She said looking up at him.

"I'm not saying your stupid, it's just that we were extra careful about our relationship, making sure o one saw anything remotely related to us being together, and yet You Know Who figured it out some how. When it involves the Dark Lord, being extra careful isn't even careful enough. I'm just telling you, especially when you are so late, it will become harderand harder to conceal the fact that you are pregnant, even with magic." he explained. He did t worry too bad, but he just wanted to be very careful.
