Okay, my dirty story just posted. From 11:00 AM yesterday until 9:00 PM tonight. That's 34 hours, which seems a little longer than usual. Oh, well. The trolls will have less time to savage it.

It features Martha the ghost but is not really one of my Laundry Tales series.

It became a competition entry within 12 hours of submitting it. Thank you to whoever was responsible for such fast approval.

Og is still struggling with his second entry. I think I'll go and irritate him so that he will be inspired to finish.

I think I just got my first vindictive one-bomb also. An hour ago, the score was doing alright and, when I just checked, it was much lower. Oh, well, they are only to be expected.

I try not to worry too much about the score, especially in the beginning of the contest. With the troll attacks and sweeps, the score tends to yo-yo. Watching it too closely could make you dizzy.

I've just submitted the first chapter of my entry, The Bright Shining Ones.
It's three short chapters. It's about a Celtic God and his Goddess.

It's sort of a romantic erotic horror story. It should be up around Sunday.

I lost about six votes, but my score took a big jump upward. It's still not high enough to challenge for any prize money, but it is a lot more respectable.

That wouldn't surprise me, but I am beginning to think that most trolls are totally indiscriminate. I believe some trolls enjoy arbitrarily bombing the new stories.

Exactly...it's just a random mob of the bastards laying waste to everything...this happens at the beginning of every contest...the pioneers get the arrows.

I don't have an entry in the contest (don't look like ever entering anything again, the way my lack of muse is going), but the sweep was very kind to me - it's nice to see all those Hs back, and they brought a couple of friends with them!
