Yeah chilling. Looking at condos lol.

I saw your comments earlier in the thread earlier about looking. Cool. Have you looked in person at any places? Or just studying what is available online and in listings before going to the next step?

Looking at listings for now. ONce you start looking in person I feel like I’m going to be pressured by some realtor to buy something, which I’m not ready for yet.

Right. THat is true. Once you talk to ANY realtor, you will be getting lots of things from them. So getting some ideas is a good plan. Seeing much that has your interest increasing?

Yup. Got quite a bit saved up for a down payment. Can get some pretty nice condos. Nicer than i expected tbh.

One of my must haves is either an attached garage or climate controlled underground parking. Don’t want my car exposed to the elements all day and night.

Good for you!
And I agree on the garage or underground. I live in a condo and love having the attached garage. I had wanted one for here, but wasn't sure if I would get one. THe first place I tried to get did not have one. That deal fell through and now I am glad as I have enjoyed this garage so much.

Got tired of the video before they even finished one point, kind of seems like they're unaware that social movements and the pandemic have fucked up things in most cities.

Lol i went down a rabbit hole and watched a fuck ton of his videos last night. Some are pretty interesting but he’s one of those democrats = bad types and made a video about how democratic run cities are shitholes or something. Then he made a “Top 10 Best Cities in America to Live In” video and 8/10 were in blue states lmao.

But he made it sound like living in Portland is like living in East St. Louis lmao.

All the visible homeless people - avoid downtown and you’re fine
Protestors - blown out of proportion to begin with, but avoid downtown and you won’t see any.

The cost of housing does blow though.

So did the fuck ton of viewing provide any real info? Or just for entertainment purposes? :)

You could look for a city where you don't need a car. Fuel may get scarce and expensive this year.
