Small update for anyone coming into this thread for its original purpose...i ran a freebie that a friend turned me on to...it came up with 644 infected files... and cleaned them all...i'll post the link...i downloaded the free version and *crossing my fingers here* i hope it worked...but its free so i thought i would share...

So, no bright lights...hmm...how about my Aunt's old place...three beautiful lakes...nice peaceful shores...a jug of sun tea beside us...my Uncle sitting on the porch strumming his guitar...watching the fish gliding beneath the surface of the water...

The WFMS post was one that i was SOO waiting for...when it broke i was so happy i couldn't see through the tears...it was one very hard and impotant lesson learned...

But knowing that i'm going to be able to redeem myself is such a relief...

no way am I laughing...I had a favorite one as a kids....it was called "the easy to climb tree"....I'd sit up there for hours.... and as an adult I had a favorite in the next town....it was incredible...it was wind blown from the ocean, and was hollowed through the center....what a testament to survival...then someone had to remove it....I'm being kind there...I don't know why....but I'm hoping it was a good reason...

so lead on to Barky....I love trees!

Trees are amazing aren't they...they bend when the wind blows...weather storms that bring down houses...house life... give life...provide shade...

Ahh...Barky...he's taller than the house...when i was a child i coudn't quite reach my arms all the way round him...he was an old dark Oak...beautiful...i would sit up in his branches...you know the really good climbing trees always have that one branch that was just made to rest your bones in...i would find that spot and watch my family...my father and my uncles working on the truck...my Aunt hanging clothes on the line...that wonderful scent of peace...yes it has a scent...its different for all of us, maybe... but we all have a scent that we smell and feel at peace...this is one for me...the water...the trees...the corn growing tall in the field that juts up against my Aunt's property...

Ahh...peace...


Can you tell i'm feeling better today...

This stop at your Aunt and Uncle's has been great!! I think we should stay for a few days!

Aunt Dot and Uncle Lucky, matter of fact. Its nice to look back and be able to find some nice memories in all the chaos. Shall i tell you a bit about our lakes, here? This one just in front of the house is called, of course, the House Lake. The one off to the right...that's the Turtle Lake. My father used to catch turtles there...so just a hint...if Aunt Dot offers you soup, just say NO!
The other lake...you can't quite see it from here. Running parallel to the House Lake is a path of unbroken ground...you can hardly walk back there, the brush is so thick. Beyond that is a creek... shallow, clear running...clams cling to the sand just above the water...this is where my father taught me to cast a fishing line. Beyond the creek is a long path that my father and my Uncles...Lowell(blood) and Lucky(marriage) broke...this path is my absolute favorite place to be on this land...we'll come back here for a little while before we fly on, if you don't mind. You follow the path, you will eventually come to the Bass Lake...my family always said that you could catch the biggest bass in the area in this lake...and, of course, they were all ours...you stand on the little dock that the menfolk built...you look out on the most serene water...just breathe...just watch as the water ripples gently...one small action affects the entire lake...i love to watch the skate bugs dancing across the surface of the water. Let's sit for a moment, here. Let's just be at peace with the water.

God, i miss that water...good memories that i would walk through hell, again, to relive.

I love it here.... sitting in Barky watch over everything....taking those walks to the lakes...sitting on the dock dangling my feet in the water....yes Joanna, I could stay here for a long while.....its peaceful and quiet.....refreshing my spirit.....giving me strength.....not ready to leave here.... not yet....ok?



When the time does come to journey on.....I will take you to one of my most treasured places.... its in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.... do you ski? LOL

Mary...that's exactly what the problem was with mine...Sasser...darn it i keep meaning to post the link but i keep forgetting...i have a program called AVG...i'll get the link and post it...i downloaded zone alarm today, a free firewall...i need to get through it and fiddle with the settings...it keeps me from getting on-line at the moment...

Download the free version...the AVG anti-virus free edition...it has cleaned up my system beautifully...

This is the free version of zone alarm...the firewall it was suggested i try out...though, as i said, i'm having a bit of trouble with it...probably only because i haven't taken the time to configure it yet...
