You said that long gun registration is being enforced. I said there's no way to do that. You said they do it at point of sale. I said that's not every long gun. Meaning, there are lots of guns in the SW, and only a small percentage of them are registered or ever will be, since you can keep your mouth shut about the ones you own and buy them and sell them from and to like-minded people who agree that the government has no right or need to know about them. They can't and won't kick your door down to search your house for unregistered guns.

Now go ahead and rejoin your Orwellian paranoid fantasy already in progress.

Yes, I can totally see it. Hillary and the UN are the reason you think guns that people currently own which are unregistered are somehow going to be magically registered soon.

You’d expect a President so opposed by many gun rights groups to get high praise from gun control advocates since he took office. But advocates like those from the Brady Campaign To Prevent Gun Violence are far from satisfied with the progress on gun control being made in this administration.

“I think the Obama administration has been loathe to act on anything — or say anything — related to guns,” Chad Ramsey of the Brady Campaign told TPMMuckraker. “The administration has said almost nothing about the gun issue since Obama took office.”

Reposting from the blurt thread, because these posts reminded me that I wanted to share my pleasure in the fact that I finally bought my very own piece, a Smith-made Walther PPk/S stainless in .380. I fucking love this thing.

I was reminded because before I had the chance to buy the Walther, I had been planning on picking up that very gun there, the LCPLS...and the guy who sold me the Walther did so because he got one.

When we went to the rang the other day to play and make the exchange, he also had his newest purchase--you listening, Marsupial Nuts?--a Kimber with a crimson trace grip. Lots of fun shooting that as well.
