don't worry about it, it's a great game, pretty old though, but for some reason those graphics catch my eye. they did the game justice.
i would recommend the games though! highly!

they were also done for the PC i think, but they were for the Sega Genisis. you can get them for an Emulator if you want

There should definitely be more games like Shining Force around.

I don't need flashy graphics and cinematics if there are cool systems and a good story.

Dark Wizard was another good game. That was for SegaCD.

the best RPG's are SF's and of course FF. story line means everything. well, you're right SD balders gate is a great game, but i can't stand the magic system for it! it's horrible!

I didn't say anything about Baldurs Gate. Never played it. I have the second one but I'm not that impressed with it.

oh, it''s an amazing game, and i like it, but if you are a heavy magic user, it's horrible, it's a fast real time game, and it takes what? 5 or 6 buttons to cast a spell? by then your people are getting killed

pause it? PAUSE IT?! that.... ruins the whole thing! you can't pause in the middle of battle!


oh, that sword swing is going to hit my dwarf, PAUSE, here lets do this... and UNPAUSE gnome sword shatters. yeah, that was fair!

LOL So shouldn't the whole pausing to role dice thing rule out table top rping for you guys? I like the complex battles, I've even downloaded a patch to make them even tougher to fight

aha! completely different however, those are not real time, those are turn based. just like SF. balders is real time

If you pause it, it's not real time! If it's real time you die, cause computers can act just a tiny bit faster than humans!
