How old were you when....?

Just complaining that you changed your avatar so soon (though the new one is nice, too).

Also, congrats on your weight loss! I've lost about 7 pounds in the past month with my regimen.

Congratulations!!

Nice! Yeah, I gained 50...still wearing it.

I'm now going to go cry a river into my latte cup.

Aww, sweetie. *hugs* Trust me, it hasn't been easy. I'm a hopeless sugar addict and love dessert, I fight the urge daily to eat cake and candy, ice cream, all the wonderful things out there that are so sweet and delicious but ultimately will keep me looking perpetually pregnant. :D

YAY!!! Congradulations! Keep up the great work. You can do it, I know you can. :rose: :D

Yes, Ma'am!

I have a massive sweet tooth as well. I've taken to eating a lot of apples and oranges (fruit, and they're sweet) and once in a while, one or two sugar wafers. They're really sweet, so that's satisfied, but they don't have too many calories.

Fruit doesn't kill my dessert cravings. It's more than just wanting -sweet-, it's the whole fat plus processed sugar, texture and flavor thing. I just deal with the cravings and usually move onto doing something useful in order to distract myself. There's always something to do around this house.

Allow yourself those sweets just in moderation. If you really want to buy some or bake some then do it. But, take them somewhere work, playdates, neighbors, or whoever and don't stay there to eat them, leave a few at home so thats all you can eat.

I'm sure it hasn't been easy. It's wonderful that you've done so well.
No sympathy necessary for me though... when it comes to me vs latte, latte always wins. -I run high octane, little sleep. -Kid, work, school, kid, work, school...I don't really crave sweets that often. I try to keep the latte limit to one per day, and get at least an hour of moderate excercise.

When my life calms down a bit, I'll make more of an effort. It is what it is. ;)

Ohh no, you have no clue. I'm easily addicted to sugar. If I let myself have one, then I'll have another, and another, and then I'll be back up to my pregnancy weight. And that wasn't pretty. It's just better that I deny myself and have self-control rather than indulging, I'm not a good "gray-area" kind of person.

I know what it's like. Fitting exercise in to my schedule is nearly impossible. And right now, I'm having to split my free time between internets and exercise, and internets actually gets to win occasionally!

I am addicted too. I am thrown stuff away in the big trash can(then one that goes on the street for the garbage man to pick up), I have gone back out to the trash can and get whatever it was out. It was always in its package sealed so it wasn't gross. But if we give them away then we can't eat them.

Do you have a sling or baby bjorn or something like it? They are amazing. I loved to strap her in and go for a walk. I am out in the fresh air and so is she. I often did that for her nap time. She would sleep better at night, and happier through out the day.

I usually let daddy take care of her while I'm exercising, after he gets home from work. We do have a sling but she HATES it.

The age where they are learning how to move around. It's a fun age.

She's crawling really well and standing almost totally on her own. She's been trying to walk for almost two months now. It's gone from calm to crazy in just a matter of weeks.

A nanny!

Mister said he'll be getting me one of those in case we ever have any more kids, so that I can go back to work and always have someone around without resorting to day care. What's it like? Do you enjoy it? Are you a live-in nanny?

Um, what specificaly do you mean what is it like? What do I do? How does it work? Yes, I really enjoy it. It is so fun and rewarding. No, I am not a live in nanny. I drive there every morning before the kids get up. They call me if someone is having a really bad night and I head over. I am 20 min away. I have an over night bag there all the time, just incase I get dirty or what not. I do stay over if I am needed. They run a international buisness and don't want to drag the kids around because they travel so much and that wouldn't be any stability for the kids. Sometimes the 8 year old goes on a trip just for fun so he can see the world.
I have gone on vacation with them(all expenses paid). So they can relaxe some more without worrying if the 5 year old is drowning.
And when they are out of the country I stay at there house and take care of the kids.:)
I love my job.

Sir Winston54, you don't really believe everything you read on this board do you? This is Playerville: all fantasy, all the time. No reality here my friend.

Yeeeah, no.

A lot more people are real here, and TRUTHFUL here, about -EVERYTHING-, thank you'd like to think.
