How to handle being ugly

I think beauty is really all in confidence. Over-confidence is a sure sign of insecurity, however, so these things can't really be faked. But self-confidence is THE sexiest thing.

For example, I've always been drawn to petite girls. I dunno, generalization: 5'3 and not much more than 120 lbs. However, recently I fell for someone who was about 5'8 and thicker than what I'm usually drawn to. Not fat... not even chubby, really, but still bigger than what I go for usually. The thing is, however, that this girl had MAJOR self-confidence and that made her charm. Her swagger is what made me so drawn to her. The fact that she walked around like she was as beautiful as anyone else made her so.

Imo and ime, self-assurance and confidence will talk much louder than looks ever will. Looks will only bring you so far.

in the ugly duckling syndrome(UDS) a person, man or woman, who is born without average looks grows a great personality and charm as well as intelligence. if a person with UDS become great looking later in life they still have the personality of the aformentioned sub par looks. now you have personality, brains, and a body.

in other words.....fuck your narsassistic tendencies and read a goddamn book. and look at woman in paintings from the rennisance. thats how a woman shoudl look. nothing is a bigger turn off than seeing a womans rib cage through her tits.

Well I am ugly. But I am a gentle giant type. I am a real and confident person. Kids like me and will walk up to me in public to be picked up.
I am very tall and very large. Think Paul Bunyan or Shrek. My hands are too big for any gloves other then the stretchy wool fingerless hunting gloves. My hip just fit into a theater seat but then my arms hang over a third or the seats beside me and my legs are spread out the same because the seats in front are too close. I can still pick up a mini van so the wheels clear the ground. I am big, not fat. So while I this humongous scary looking big guy I am really a loving gentle friend.
So if you know you are big, ugly and scary looking and accept it you can now joke about it and change things. Many times I will see a girl cowering a little and looking afraid of me. I find just gently placing my hand on her shoulder and quietly saying hello my deep low voice removes the fear. Then I can make small talk and joke a little. Some will say that touching like that is inappropriate. I personally do not care because when I do just this the fear goes away and I feel I should have opportunity to be a friend and not a threat. I also enjoy being the jungle gym for small kids. It is an incredible pleasure for me to change fear into a friend that one trusts there kids with. Of course the kids already new they could just walk up to me and be happy.
In recent years I have had a few fuck buddies. One helped me find the correct condom size a few years ago. Seems as I have aged the one size fits all cut things off to much. But those magnumXL's fit great. The girls seem to use the term tree stump the most when they want to go for a ride. But the big fat strong tongue that seems to make me look cute and adorable. So while I my look ugly at first glance I know that I can be a great friend and wonderful lover and bring many smiles to those I touch. And many screams of passion to those I lick.
So I know who I am and I love it that way. Besides; if you had a choice of having every girl smile and wink at you or a few girls ask you to marry them while you were giving them oral sex when they cum for the umpteenth time, would you wish you were ugly like me?

Have you just been told you're ugly, do ppl ignore you like you are or what? I mean you could have a not so hot looking face, but a great looking persona. That's what really draws a person's attention. Unless they're just one of those ugh... ppl that take you at face value and that's it. Then they're the ugly ones, worse than you! Like some of the others said, confidence helps. But so does a great persona.

Okay, so here's the deal. My whole life, I was ugly. I was much thinner when I was younger, but I was ugly. How does that work? Because I truly believed I was ugly. I hated the way I looked because I listened to the stupid people who told me I looked bad.

I'm the heaviest I've ever been, right now. And I think I'm fucking gorgeous. I really do. And if other people disagree, who cares? They can go fuck themselves, for all I care.... self confidence is SELF-CONFIDENCE.. it is NOT others-dependent. It is not conditional on how 'the world' sees you. It comes from inside... from an appreciation of yourself, your gifts, talents, appearance, etc.

Ugly, by the way, is not a physical attribute. It's a personality attribute. And if you can avoid that personality attribute, you're good to go.
