The Byrds, perhaps my all-time favorite band (well, only perhaps, since I've got a lot of all-time favorite bands), here do some reunion thingie of Turn, Turn, Turn.
Y'know? I sometimes just love YouTube.
Makes me want to buy a 12-string guitar again, dammit. Stupid, I know.
You'd think they could've doubled up on some of those "time to"s and cast stones into a pile somewhere else for later instead of taking a separate time to gather the cast away stones. Sheesh. Productivity, people.
What I might school dance to now, complete with NFL cheerleader tryout chickies in the background.I love you tube too - wallowing in nostalgia - oh those school dances. Goodbye stranger
Last Chance Texaco
makes me ache so purty.

I think you two need to spend some time with Mr. Discipline. When you've got a knees melting smile like Robert McGuinn you can do what ever you want with your stones

Supertramp played for your school dance?! Geez, where'd you matriculate, anyway? Wycombe Abbey?
She has a voice like silk and her lyrics are poetry. I'd so give her babies if I were a guy and if she'd let me.She was edgy from her days with Tom Waits. Her music is sexy and flirtatious. She the kind of girl that would loosen her bra for you. Knew what you wanted and where it could be found. No games--she'd always look you in the eyes. All you have to do is measure up
Dear Pandora, I'm digging the link that you provided. Thanks. Really enjoyable to hear her voice as a instrument that ranges from soft and low (sort of like Lauren Bacall) to sharp and high. I'm of the opinion that We Belong Together from Pirates is her best work. The lyrics are there and her voice is so enthralling
:caning: Oh yes I do believe so! I mean I've been feeling so undisciplined lately. *nudges UYS*Tzara said:I think you two need to spend some time with Mr. Discipline.

Emusic now has Miles Davis classics such as Bitches Brew, Sketches of Spain, Walkin', etc.

Prez Plays with the Oscar Peterson Trio is a great, great cd. One of my favorites that I listen to all the time. My favorite cut is I'm Confessing. What that man could do with a ballad.![]()
PS Per your question, I love Tom Waits. How could I not? He's jazzy and bluesy and folky and a poet.
Care for a dance?
I've submitted Tom Waits to NPR for their 100 Voices that have changed how we listen to music
How can you not include Mr. Waits?
Well, then, try the old-fashioned, but proper form or the dull and lackadaisical aughts version.Oh yes I do believe so! I mean I've been feeling so undisciplined lately. *nudges UYS*
BLUEY!!! Hello Dahlin'!!! Good to see you!! Missed you lots and lots. Glad you're still around.
This is my wake up song these days. If I get some alone time this weekend I'm gonna get in the 'proper' frame of mind and go out on the porch and bellow it!!! Just cuz I can!
