I have all the answers

You're plenty interesting. I read all your posts. You just don't post crap on occasions like I do. Some days, for me, it's all about typing meaningless crap just for the hell of it. Today, it's because I got some bad news that I'm avoiding thinking about. So, I'll play instead.

Thanks...after I posted that I was like, crap, now people will think I want them to tell me I'm interesting. But it was nice to hear all the same! heh

I'm always envious of the meaningless-crap-posting. I like reading the meaning-less-crap-posts, but I kinda figure I should get to know people a bit before I unload my meaningless crap on them, which kinda goes against the whole "get to know people" process.

I think too much. People don't call me seri-ous for nothing I suppose.

Desert, here's a question for you...how come when I accidently bruise myself, the bruise lasts through a dozen ugly colour stages and won't go away, but when my Domme bruises me and I'm all proud of the marks and *want* them to stay, they go away so fast?? I wanna know cuz it pisses me off! I like my marks...just not when corners of coffee tables give them to me.

Could be where you're getting bruised. Elbows, knees and legs especially are thinner skinned areas.

Your bottom is probably not. Most of us have fleshy ones. When they start fading... I recommend that you beat yourself in those spots again or get someone you like to do it for you. That'll keep 'em fresh... I think.

True, true...but she tends to beat me a hell of a lot harder than the coffee table so I figured that would kinda even it out or something. Wishful thinking...

I did get some nasty "same damn spot" beatings with a hairbrush last week on my inner thighs and those are sticking around. Of course, I'm not so proud of those as they were a punishment. Figures *they* would decide to stick around just to remind me.

5. I make myself do 5 licks then I bite the shit out of it.

Wrong. I bite the shit out of it after 2 licks. I'm into more immediate gratification. LMAO

Why bother licking it? It's not gonna last. I just go straight from unwrapping it to chomping. :p Yum.

Just so I can say I had a smidge of patience. LOL

Lol, oh you're asking for it Rose, time to pull out some science questions  .
Which colour of light disperses fastest in water, red, blue, or green?

And I read somewhere that if you take an aspirin every 8 hours or so starting the day before you get beat, the bruises will last longer since that's a blood thinner. Just be very very careful that it won't interfere with any other meds or conditions you may have already, and warn the Domly One before in case blood is gonna get shed. It's only fair to warn someone before you bleed copiously at them.

ADR, I know the reason they take away your panties and stick you in a hospital gown is to be sure you're properly humiliated and freezing besides before your invasive procedure of choice, but why do they insist on doing the night (or afternoon) before instead of the morning of the procedure?

So you don't have to get up even earlier in the morning to get dressed. Normally shift changes are about that time, so they don't want to have to do anymore than necessary. And obviously they don't think you can do it yourself. (Although, k couldn't get up on time in the morning to save his life. )

None of the above because you misspelled color.

HAHAHAH!!! lol, sorry Rose, had to laugh at that, I did not, actually.
In Canada, the british spelling is used, colour is very correct I'm afraid :p .

Good answer on the bruising thing. I can see where that would work.

One of the reasons they keep it cold in hospitals, and especially ORs, is that bad bugs (germs, bacteria, etc) live well in warm places.

And grace is right. Better to have some of the unneccessary things (like no panties and properly dressed or undressed, as the case may be) out of the way early.

Tonsilectomies are difficult on people as they get older... seems to be more painful for them. But snowy will do just fine. ;-)

Here's a little bit of obscure home health advice: Get a wet wash cloth, put it in a ziplock bag and keep it in the freezer... its great for molding over a little head to bring down a temp quickly. (Body heat is lost first from the head.) I always had a couple in my freezer when my children were little. They also mold nicely over a knee or other limb. Also, if you can get those big old kotex (do they still make those thick things?) soak one in water and keep it frozen. Great for post-tonsilectomy or any soar throat or injured limb.

I'm learning some good things in this silly thread. LOL It began as nothing more than a big ol' joke and here I am learning to use aspirin before I meet my next Dom date!

Thank you!

yea dolly, I know it's proper for you Canucks and those Brits. LOL

But I admit, I know nothing about which color disperses in water first... but odds are I have a one in 3 chance of getting this right and I live in a city of odds so...

I say Purple. Just cuz I like it.

Another thing that works for bringing down a temp fast is a luke warm bath. (try and put a hot child in cold bath, and you'll have one hell of a fight on your hands.) By getting their heads wet, it allows heat to escape faster. Then let them drip dry.

And D? Please, please, please take a picture of snowy's face if you give her a frozen kotex pad to put on her throat? Please, please, please?

I've been wracking my brains trying to remember which book that was in. It was either "Loving Dominant" byt John Warren, or "SM 101" by Jay Wiseman (Who's doing a seminar in my area this fall. Now if the club could just decide what the heck the topic is going to be!) There's an outside chance it was "Screw the Roses" but I don't think it was there. Oh horrors! I'll have to go read them again and find out!

Thanks for the advice on cold stuff. I was thinking doing the bag of frozen peas thing, but the response I got "I don't like peas inside my body and I'm not putting them outside it either!" I'm on the washcloth one, though.

Frozen corn works, too.

Umm, I didn't even say purple lol  . Doesn't matter, red light has the lowest frequency of any light wave, and is the least stable, so it disperses the fastest in anything, air, water, glass.

I learned the wet/frozen rag and kotex thing when I was an ER nurse... million and a half years ago.
