A lot of couples in the Swinging world have a no kissing rule as that is something just for them. I can kinda understand it but not a rule that works for us. I could make an argument why either, or neither, are the most intimate.

Kissing is a paired, synchronous activity. You can look into each other’s eyes. You can feel and express a wider range of emotion while kissing. There’s no inherent beginning or ending and it can be initiated for a multitude of reasons.

Oral sex requires you to bare yourself physically. You’re hyper focused on body parts you usually conceal. You are trusting your partner to pleasure you. There’s often some level of societal guilt or shame attached to the act, especially for younger individuals and women.

What you find the most intimate is a reflection of personal preferences - what makes you feel the most connected with someone, the most vulnerable, etc.
