I will tell you what I look for when on chat. I look for guys profiles that have info. Alot of what you said in your post. I will then start a chat in there. I do the same on here when looking at profiles

just Google - Google chat and you can download on your phone or use a web based feature or both. it has a type box that you can have live conversations or it does have the option to do a video call also. I don't like do video so I just use the live chat. only delay is if who you are talking to isn't responding quickly. Teams is the same way. just it's Microsoft vs Google. if you have ever used for work you can message each other, share screens, video call or just call. just makes it a quicker way to chat and is pretty close to old Yahoo. you can also share pictures or other files in both of these.
