So far nobody has screwed it up. I'm about to go get one of the boys from track practice. They had no school today. No idea why. Ask the teachers union.

You need to come out to one of the races. The 500 is still the biggest crowd, but only because they don't sell infield tickets to the Brickyard. Formula 1 tickets are just about given away. It hasn't caught on at all.

I'd love to be back on the coast. I miss the seafood and just being out on the water.

i would love to see an indy 500..class of racers is a fine group..I do go the daytona 500 and pepsi 400 every year...My son loves to see that stuff and get all the funny shirts from the race ..he loves the M&M car... My daughter has half day today too weird....

This is the third day in the last three weeks of no school on Friday. I think it's the snow days they didn't take that are built into the schedule. Why not get out of school early? Makes no sense to me, another way to waste money.


Going racing at the Speedway here is pretty unique, a flat 2 1/2 mile track makes it hard to pass for the NASCAR guys. The Indy cars is a different story. Every year there are rule changes to slow the cars down and the engineers adjust and the speeds go right back up. Come on over...

I know how it is...I'm running around too. My daughter doesn't get out of school until the third week in June.
