Yeah, we're finally both done with school (although, stupid me, I'm thinking about going back for my MS). And we are loving the whole living in the middle of cornfields thing. The job front - I love my job, but it's really stressfull (I work at a juvenile correctional facility). Holly doesn't like her job so much, but we get discounts on pet-food for the furbabies, so she hasn't quit yet. Oh, and we've gotten more furbabies LOL 5 dogs now.

I miss the others too but I kinda quit hanging out at lit for awhile, so I have no idea where anyone is.

Well.. Now that I have more time I can say what I wanted....

I too fell off the face of Lit, and lost track of it all...

But when "LIFE" happens we really do lose control of our own power, and let things go to the wayside that we actually get great enjoyment, and pleasure from.

I have been attempting classes working towards my MS, but with 2 kids in tow, a crazy husband, and my own personal issues it has been slow going... (she winks)

Tell Holly the discount on the furbabies food would be quite substantial if you were feeding the biggest of my three... Shadow.. my black lab weighs 120lbs...

As for me.. I was working with METH addict's.... I loved the work, but the horrible depths people lower themselves to when using this drug is unbelievable..... (So I can understand a little about your stress at the correctional facility)... I worked with court ordered rehab/probation clients in Intensive Outpatient setting 5 days a week....

Decided to do something more Lax, and have been working part-time at a womens Gym, and subbing (teaching..lol) at the local schools...

Still living in the same ol place, rolling in the same field of clovers
, and running my toes in the sand as much as possible.!!!

Reminds me of life in Texas, just outside the city limits.

One went in with 11 neighbors and bought a goat. Each month the goat was tethered in a different yard.

The results were a big property tax exemption, as you could claim your 1/2 acre+ as actively agricultural.

It's been crazy here the last 24 hours or so ... we've discovered that our house is a minor disaster area (water heater leaked and ruined not only the carpet but the subfloor) and we've been doing a mad-dash clean before a friend of ours comes to help redo the floors.

I hate cleaning.

Sorry Babe.. I had to make a funny with the SUB floor... I feel for ya...Cleaning is no fun when it is a have too, round up some of the SUB's, and get them working for YA' (Brushing clovers from my eyes, to wink!)

Yesterday was a wonderful day... I hope everyone had an opportunity to get out and enjoy it... I know I did..... (nothing be me, and him, the leather seat and wheels that seperated us from the hot asphalt....) my 1st time riding, and I am in love with it... Always have loved to drive fast, street raced a 5.0 mustang in highschool up on Maddison Ave. every weekend... and NOW... the wide world of Harleys.... and the unexpected men who ride them... (Nice!!!!)

Yeah yeah I'm working on the SUB issue, and as it turns out, once the subflooring dried out, there were no soft spots, so we're not replacing it right now. We did get the water heater replaced, so we have hot water again.

I'm sure we'll get through it shortly, Wally.

In other news, I'm trying to convince a boy from NJ that he needs to come to IN for vacation ... wish me luck on that as well

Oh babe I can definately sympathize on the no HOT WATER.. EEE GADS.. That is the only down-fall to living as deep in the sticks as I do... Power goes out everytime the wind blows, and for some reson so does the water... ( ? ) Haven't figured that one out yet myself.. maybe our tower leans or something.. lol..

Mike.. Just got back, had a marvelous time.. Went to French Lick.. took in some sites.. spent time with the kids poolside.. did some bowling on the restored 6 lane alley, and of course gambling...

I was safe, and responsible since I had the young'ns in tow...

Heading out soon to hit the Lake... airing up floaties now.... (BLOW)....

I remember having to deal with a well pump, it's not been that long ago since we swithced to "LAKE WATER".. I don't know which is more sanitary... with all the poluition soaking into our soil... and water... Did you know that for every pound of cooked meth their is at least 5lbs of toxic waste to be disposed of... (Tid bit of narotic trivia)...

So.. you've got two SUB's hooked... Cum'n from dif. directions... You go GIRL!!! Show em who's their Momma.. (lol)...

Well today definitely had its ups and downs...I did have a good day mostly, but my temper got the best of me this evening. I truly need to work on that at times when my 'mr. evil' side comes out. Mostly it's in hybernation, but when it roars, watch out!
