There was a thread, well I think there have been a couple actually, for Indiana folk, but they eventually fade after time.

I am doing much better now. I healed rather quickly and could have gone back to work early if I had wanted, but it's the holiday season and I decided to forego the hectic life of a retail clerk during the Christmas season.

AMEN! I don't blame you there. So what's there to do over on the east side of Indiana?

Well... today, not much. But when the weather is warmer you can hang out at the Ft. Wayne Children's Zoo. That's not too far from me. Figured out where I am yet? lol

We have 2 theatres and 7 bars which 4 of them are private clubs. You have to go to Merrillville or go south to Lafayette for any real fun. You can catch some good concerts and stuff in Merrillville, and good eats in both cities. I usually hang around the F.O.E. where I can buy cheap beer and know about everybody, yes I know what a bore

Well, if ya don't leave the town... we have one bar, 5 restaurants, no theatre, no clubs, unless you count the "glorified country club" *cough cough cough* ... though come to think of it we do have an animal park located in some black pines.Though I've never been there. It's only across town. Oh, and of course we have the school, guess one could go to their sporting and school events for rousing fun.

My youngest daughter just graduated and I used to go to all her sporting events. She is now attending St. Joseph for track and nursing. But you can go around here and find something be it bowling or pool or darts

Ohhh we do have a bowling alley. Sometimes you don't know what's in your town till you give it some thought. I have 3 kids, none old enough for college yet. Two are still in middle school and one in elementary.

Well for starters I do know how to spell "HEAR" lol... why I wrote "here" I have no idea...

I am 35 miles west of Indianapolis myself... My B/F lives near you both... in a town called Plymouth.... And my best friend and her family lives in Logansport, both "Small Towns in Indiana"...

Yes, I knew you were an "ASS" man because I read one of your older post asking for women to start an "Ass" thread, with photos, and you did not care if the bums were exposed ot not... (Teehee) I giggled when I read that because my B/F always has made such a big deal outa my ass (an it's big enough, without being made a deal of...lol) I love the attention...

However while working out in the Gym the other day, one of the other ladies working out made a comment like this... "Hell Karen, all you really need to focus on is your ass, it's the only problem area you have..." I looked at her, with my nice as could be smile, and said... "I love ya for being so honest, but let's stay focused on why we are here..., and why are you checking my butt out anyway?"
