For me, it's a texture thing - ever pear that I've ever tasted has been mushy, but grainy ... and that's just gross.

That's part of it. Their texture is just . .. .*shudders*. I also don't like crab. I mean who in the world got the bright idea of eating them? They are giant bugs! Might as well eat a beatle or something. Yuck. All I can say is the first person to eat a crab ever was REALLY REALLY HUNGRY.
