Heheh. My blue-crowned conure loves be bop, metal, synth you name it. When he wants music he says, "Boop de boop." Lol and he mimics my laugh now -- which is funny. And makes smoochie noises. The conures are great aren't they? Glad the training is going well with Bandit

The training hasn't really begun yet but soon very soon she will recieve her first full day of serving MASTER.

Just got done watching the new CSI: Vegas. I think I have a crush on Grissom or however you spell his name. Hmmm. Just something about him. Think he and Catherine will ever get it on? hehehehehh. I think it was him who had the fun experience at a bondage house too -- with the head dominant. That was a messed up episode though -- pissed Master off.

Say, you have a Sun -- what do you do about the squawking? Is there a way to get them not to? I mean I do realize that they are birds but have you found any way to not have execessive squawking? We just purchased him from his other owners about 3 weeks ago so I am sure it is just still transitional. He was pretty quiet but just today he was really squawky. Guess I'll have to do some reading. Somthing to do when I can't sleep. Say, are parrots affected by the full moon?

Don't know about parrots, but I know a cockatiel that gets downright cheeky.. He meows at the cat, does "car alarm" or "police siren" every time the door opens, and sqwaks "bad doggy! bad doggy!" at the dog.. He's always really vocal, but his person swears he gets chattier as the moon gets full.

I knew it!!! Heck Master gets onory on a full moon -- would make sense that a little 9 oz bird would too. He has increased in chattiness towards the full moon. Has been a cheeky monkey that's for sure.

Oh Master sent me part 2 of the hike story to edit! I can't wait to submit that too! So guess I'll edit a bit!

OOh, I almost forgot.. When he's getting really rambunctious, she drops his night time cover over his cage til he settles down. He gets covered at night anyway; but it comes in handy during the day when she's trying to talk on the phone and stuff and he's being really nutty..

Yep did that today -- felt so guilty, but he quieted down. Guess it makes them feel more secure. Was driving me bananas! I'll see if it happens next month. Normally he's quite loving and quiet. I was like, what possessed my bird? lol.

You didn't hear? I'm sick, in the hospital. I'm using my cousins laptop so that I can get online (everyone has their addictions - lol). Fucking Crohns Disease, and my fucking fucked up body. *sigh* You don't want to get me ranting, though, I may never stop. lol Frankly getting pain meds is the only good thing about this. (Well, and I've lost 25 lbs in the last two weeks ) I'm already back to my post pregnancy weight with Danny. Maybe I'll get down to prepregnancy weight. That'd be nice.

But there's got to be an easier way to do it! I have plain old ordinary ulcers, that perforate every now and then. Last time they got into an uproar I lost about 40 pounds. Only gained 7 of them back. Damn things are chronic.

Hope you feel better soon. I'd suggest sending Ciara to keep you company, but the demon child would have you out running amuck chasing hockey pucks or something. Love her to death, but she's dangerous that way!

The speculum & bondage chair were found in an eBay search for "TOTALLY BIZARRE > WEIRD STUFF along with the CUFFS I did bid on, the others were just to keep BANDIT on her guard.

As for the squarking you might have an invader in the house that upsets the bird or as you say it could just be getting used to the new location or the full moon.
