Is Trump fit for a second term?

Have evidence a convicted felon is present during his official meetings? Or is this just pissing in the wind verbiage?
News reports all over the place that Hunter is at his dad's side in his meetings.

You have no evidence; just winging a generality out there with a prayer like that proves something. Give me one source that shows he is present at an official meeting. That's what I asked. You give me nothing that says he is there.

Your inability to provide any evidence to support your claim is strikingly similar to Trump's baseless allegations about the 2020 election. He provided no proof then, yet Trump insists that he won. Your claim is no different. It's a failure.

[Donald Trump Jr. is seen everywhere, with a convicted felon by his side in numerous meetings. That convicted felon roams the country, meeting foreign dictators, and is shepherded by the secret service that protects him. Why doesn't that concern you? Or haven't you thought about that?]

Shut up. It comes from your press.

Well, 'my' press says he went to Camp David for the holiday and came back to watch the fireworks from the balcony with Joe and Jill. So yes, he was at the White House and on vacation with the President.

Where's your stuff from all over the place that says he was contributing to 'official White House meetings?'

If not then–sit down and be silent on the matter.

His guy has official meetings around the boxes in the bathroom… so it’s okay if he is confused what official looks like.

In an election that pits possibly the two least impressive presidential candidates in American history against one another, "fit" is a relative term at best.

The reality, although people don't want to admit it, is that personal qualities like "fitness," "intelligence," and "decency" don't matter much in presidential elections. Here's the proof: ask yourself if you would vote for the candidate of the other party if you became convinced that, notwithstanding your agreement with your party's candidate's policies, you nevertheless thought the candidate for the other party was the more "fit" or "honest" or "decent" human being. The honest answer for most people: no, you wouldn't. People vote their party, their beliefs, and their tribal affiliations, but they pretend that they care about qualities like "fitness." People only talk about fitness when it concerns the other guy.

Simon, that notion is not viable. It's time to challenge the belief that personal qualities like fitness, intelligence, and decency don't matter in presidential elections. If these traits were insignificant, why would the public be so vocal about them in daily polls and sound bites? We must encourage critical thinking, decency, and, to a degree, a candidate's fitness to complete the mission and shift the perspective. Equally important is a critical discussion about the platforms each espouses and the impact on all citizens not just a few, or the wealthy.

Personal qualities like honesty and decency are non-negotiable in a presidential candidate. A leader who is two-faced and dishonest about their beliefs or action plans or denies their past statements cannot be trusted. Such a person has no place running for office. Dishonesty and gross lying are non-starters in my book.

No scenario exists at this moment where an honest and decent man supports his party policies, and his opponent is indecent and amoral with better plans. There is a stark contrast between the parties and their agendas. One party and candidate wants to strip away freedoms and seems bent on perpetuating lies to achieve draconian goals. The other party seems to foster changes meant to improve the nation and protect freedoms, and that candidate is a caring and decent guy going about it.

Not just people voting for the party line is at stake here in this unique moment in history. It is more than policy planks at stake. We are at a defining moment where our morals and principles are on the line as a nation.

We need to end the notion that one man can be a 'democratic dictator' under the veil of civil liberties and justice applied equally for all–no man is above those laws, regardless of some Supreme Court Justices' lunatic supporting decisions.

Let's not dwell on fitness or flummox ourselves over levels of intelligence. The guy with the better plan has an excellent second in command. If he falters somewhere along the line, the Constitution has a backup plan for the Vice President to fulfill the role. It would not be a disaster but a continuation of the people's will. Vote for the principles and goals even if the proponent seems frail. His successor is in the wings if need be–strong, young, and capable. Vote with an eye to having democracy prevail, not an autocracy, as a new experimental toy to be strung along by a wannabe dictator.

Word is that his wife finally received a call. Trump told her he would be keeping in touch. Biden had called the first day, but Mrs. Comperatore would not speak with him, saying her husband would not have wanted her to have that conversation as he was a staunch Republican.

Yup. After he was called out by the media.

Which makes him even more unfit.

He couldn't be bothered until he looked bad.

Dollars to donuts she never hears from him again.

He spent more time talking about how he wanted to stay and continue his defiant speech. It wasn't until after he bragged about getting his 'tight' shoes and how great his photo was that someone asked him about speaking to the other families.

He was... quiet. Like you noted and asked someone to get their names and numbers. Still did nothing about it though as you noted until pressed again and finally made the first call.

Did he speak with the other two families of the injured? Unknown?

A blurb in the news said 'Trump directed' a gofundme page for them. I suspect that wasn't Trump's suggestion, just another publicity moment from his press corp person. [My bad!]

He has a better campaign team this time around, so one of the team members will probably keep the relationship going for the PR bump.

Side note:

The fact that she is so fanatical that she wouldn’t take President Biden’s phone call because she wanted to honor her husband’s Trumpism is crazy.

“Those Crazy Trumpers”.

😑
