Jerry Brown said the events (a near crash and "someone" named Brown trashing Kamala) Trump described never happened, and Gavin Newsom and another person on the helicopter backed that up.

Some fella named Nolan, another 'Black man' from California, said he was on the helicopter with Trump and laughed about Trump's claim that he thought he was going to die. The chopper indeed had an emergency, but the landing was normal, and no damage to the helicopter or personnel. Not a crash landing. The other Jerry Brown and Newsom chopper trip was a different event and true, nothing happened on that one with Newsom so there is that confusion over Trump's faulty memory naming Brown as the person he rode with.

So it happened for real. Just not with anyone Trump said it did or anybody named Brown at all. Just a 78-year-old convicted felon with faulty memories over something to attract attention to himself. A disturbing half/lie at best.

Fucked up his story... oh well. He will have more at the next press conference. Certainly not about helicopters.

I bet Trump has some version of the helicopter story in all of his speech/rants from now on. He absolutely refuses to admit he’s ever wrong, and doubles down always.

Trump is not as dangerous as Hitler, because he is much older and less intelligent. The similarities in their appeal and personalities are due to the fact that they appeal to the same demographic: this is the demographic of angry white men. They blame the problems in their lives on scapegoats.
