Bralessness posts elsewhere made me realize that I find going braless in public super embarrassing unless it's winter and I'm wearing heavy clothes. But it's not because I'd feel particularly racy or slutty or worried that someone might *gasp* see my nipple through my shirt. It feels highly embarrassing because I don't like how my boobs look without the added support of a bra. In winter heavy clothes make it more tolerable because I'm just a blob anyway.

So, a new addition to my laundry list of things I hate about myself au naturel. Yay.

Yeah, it’s not so much nipples being seen. Well, for some people that is the case. I imagine that, like for me, many were introduced to bras young and made to believe one should be worn in public always. For myself, going without a bra is physically uncomfortable because my breasts are super sensitive. If there is no bra to hold them in place it’s a mess. I have bralettes that I wear at home sometimes just to avoid the “movement” because it can become uncomfortable. That’s only at certain times of the month when the sensitivity is just too high. Otherwise, I do have some clothes that require going bra-less for special occasions. Open back and whatnot that a bra would just ruin the aesthetic.

My breasts have been a part of me that I have mixed feelings about. I love and hate them. Seeing other natural breasts has helped with my perception. Instagram Reality on Reddit is a major relief since most pictures we’re seeing are heavily edited.

I used to think perfectly shaped tits and being poreless was naturally attainable. Not so much these days. I’m working with what I’ve got and making the best of it. Wrinkles, pores, cellulite and all.

I don't even know how many I have at this point. Like I said, it's a sickness. Mine are all under wire, too, except for the bralettes which I wear to bed when my boobs are extra sensitive or if I'm feeling like not wearing real clothes the entire day.

Edit: 33 bras, 3 bralettes, 2 teddies in those pics. Off the top of my head I have at least six more bras, one bralette and a couple other boob related garments that I never wear. As I stated before, it's a sickness.

As I have a few styles of panties to go with each bra and I tend to wash my bra after 2-3 wears, I could go around 4 months without undergarment laundry. Although the thought of letting worn panties sit for 4 months between washes makes me shudder.
