I don’t know why it’s like this here, but our company did something similar. And then there were HR emails telling everyone they had to make their picture work appropriate and had to include you in it. Originally we were supposed to request our ID picture taken by security to use. They offered to retake photos. Eventually they were like “yeah, just use whatever but make sure it’s safe for work.” I used a low lit photo from a birthday dinner. It was the best I had at the time and I didn’t want to use my security badge photo as it was taken at the end of the day after my makeup started to not look as good. I wasn’t willing to ask for a new photo though because I was thinner in the original. Thinking about it, it was pretty much an annoyance I eventually complied with because all the alternatives were more work.

I wouldn't want to use my security badge pic either.

And yes, the HR just keep pestering people until they give up and upload a pic.

The non-photo default pic is casually called an egghead, because it's white and round. They've kept saying that the eggheads should go... So I figured my silly egghead photo was appropriate in this case.

I did change it into something a little more professional in outlook, but the intranet profile pic is still the eggheaded overall one.

Pissed at myself for not paying attention to tech updates and new product releases since I'm unexpectedly having to choose a new iphone due to a motherboard going bad.

It's cheaper to replace the damned thing than repair it.

For certain reasons I have had to start to part my hair the opposite side I usually do and where it naturally parts. It's hell, utter hell. I can *feel* my hair all the time now, which is not what I'm used to.

And that made me realize that this would be a perfect, very low effort but high impact way for a D type to sorta mark an s type and remind them of the power exchange throughout the day.

Wow, removing/banning members because you don’t like them or don’t like dissenting voices is not okay at all. I’m really glad forum moderators do not have this permission, not that I am personally aware of any who would simply ban a member. People have the ability to use the ignore feature and should.
