I failed all resolutions I ever made.
I suppose the best course would be to make a new year's resolve never to make another new year's resolution.
I find setting goals (I have a whole long process I won't go into here) to be more motivating than resolutions.
I write them down and then get to cross them off (like a "to-do" list)
I don't suppose there's much difference between a goal and a resolution but framing it differently it works for me.
