I've taken to driving down the road, and sitting in my car by the river watching the world go by.
Each morning the same group of yummy mummys parks next to me in their 4x4s and decamps in their matching Lycra for (I assume) the latest trendy fitness class.

This morning they're literally running circles round my car. Whilst I sit here, crazy hair and bare-faced. Inhaling my coffee.

It's my 20 minutes of peace.

:sigh: I can't seem to crochet right now. Maybe I'm too tired to follow the instructions? Ugh... Crochet code sucks.

Today will be known as The Great Zooming.

Unless it's just me...

I bought new (expensive, I might add) cleanser for my face, and my face really does not like it. The first few times were okay, even if the stuff felt a bit too strong for me. I thought it would be ok at least for a while, because a) expensive and b) too lazy to buy something new.

I was wrong. Now my face is completely red, hot and tingly. I just want to dive face first into a pool of cold lotion. I should have known better and ditch the stuff after the first time I tried it and it felt a tad too "cleansing" for me.

Guess I won't be going out tonight. Not happy. Not happy at all. <---- that looks exactly like me at right now.

Oh, I know this feeling. Poor you.

When this first started happening to me I was using a very mild, cream to try and calm and soften the reaction, before realising this too was setting me off!

I'm using pharmacy stuff right now and it feels better already. Just lathering it on and on. My face will probably break out as a result because this is not stiff I'd normally put on my face, but that's a small price to pay at the moment. At least I don't feel like my face is on fire anymore.

"Yeah, I knew a guy once that had a restaurant" is not a story

I knew a guy once that had a restaurant. The food was overpriced and pretty shitty. But he had old school video games and other fun stuff so people would go anyways. Finally the shitty food took is toll and people stopped going. Now he's co-owning with another guy and they have a chicken wing place. The wings (done by the other dude) are good, but the rest of it is still subpar. We don't go there much.
The end.

I knew a guy once that had a restaurant. He was the former head chef at an Ivy League college. His dream was to open up a Greek place. So he did. We all go there. The lemon potatoes are to die for.
This town needed good Greek.
The end.
