I knew a guy once that had a restaurant. The food was overpriced and pretty shitty. But he had old school video games and other fun stuff so people would go anyways. Finally the shitty food took is toll and people stopped going. Now he's co-owning with another guy and they have a chicken wing place. The wings (done by the other dude) are good, but the rest of it is still subpar. We don't go there much.

Oh, sounds like a fun game. I'll add to this...

However, there's this hipster place over on the other side of town that we go to frequently. Food is only ok, but they have live music on Wednesdays and Fridays from local indie bands. If you stop at KFC on the way over, you can sit in the park next to the place and have a live concert going as you eat your honey chicken.

NEXT!

Cat is chasing her tail and spinning all around the room like a maniac...

Nope. Not gonna put my spoon into that can of worm soup.

I love idioms that can't be translated literally.

You can cause total confusion with:"He slid in on a shrimp sandwich."
(glida in på en räkmacka)

It is a good one and it's impossible to guess the meaning if you don't know it.

(It means to have it easy, not have to work at all to achieve something. I know somebody's curious about it.)

Although I wonder what prompted you to quote my post? Did I accidentally use an idiom in some language? My brain is a scary noodle soup of fever at the moment, it cannot be trusted. :D

I don't think "to put a spoon in a can of worm soup" is an official idiom anywhere, but "can of worms" is one, yes.

Lit has been strangely slow today, or at least the BDSM boards. Which gave me ample time to finish my book. Still not sure how I feel about it tho.

In other news Master will probably be late tonight. * sigh *

 Could you be anymore condescending, bitch?

Also... I don't know what blog you're talking about, Elle, but it sounds like things are not going well so I will send some warmth thoughts. :rose:

Yep, that one is. :)

I just couldn't figure out if the soup thing was actually an idiom. I was pretty whacked out out of it last night. :D

On the bright side I feel really good for the first time since I first got the sniffles about a month ago, so maybe the fever helped kill some nasties.

Holy crap.

I just found out that I've been spelling a very simple word wrong all these years, omitted a double consonant.
