Thank you!
I had been left feeling so unfulfilled.
Now I'll be able to sleep

I knew a guy once that had a restaurant. The food was overpriced and pretty shitty. But he had old school video games and other fun stuff so people would go anyways. Finally the shitty food took is toll and people stopped going. Now he's co-owning with another guy and they have a chicken wing place. The wings (done by the other dude) are good, but the rest of it is still subpar. We don't go there much.

Nope. Not gonna put my spoon into that can of worm soup.
I love idioms that can't be translated literally.
You can cause total confusion with:"He slid in on a shrimp sandwich."

Although I wonder what prompted you to quote my post? Did I accidentally use an idiom in some language? My brain is a scary noodle soup of fever at the moment, it cannot be trusted.![]()

I don't think "to put a spoon in a can of worm soup" is an official idiom anywhere, but "can of worms" is one, yes.

YOU HAVE BEEN ASSIMILATEDI think maybe I feel like this is home now. I used the word 'abroad' today meaning outside of Uk. I didn't even think about it.

Holy crap.
I just found out that I've been spelling a very simple word wrong all these years, omitted a double consonant.![]()
