To the best of my ability the damage caused by the mod has been rectified.

So let's see why the mod decided to take so many diverse discussions and merge them into two threads:

According to Welcome To The BDSM Talk Forum:

I hope you enjoy your time here and find it a place to come in good times and in bad. In trying to create that environment we have few rules, but those we do have we created in the interests of encouraging friendship, community, and a diversity of BDSM discussions.

Well there can be no complaint regarding the diversity. That's what makes this thread so hard to read now.

Part of creating that atmosphere is based on respecting others as individuals and not discriminating in any form (eg. race, age, religion, gender, sexuality etc.).

And we see so much of that in the 'ethics' of casual 'bdsm'

Who can forget:

Kill yourself.

EDIT: Why you bring this shit to this message board i have no fucking idea.

Cease being a whining fuck (I dont doubt that you are) and sort your shit out. Fucking SORT. IT OUT. You have a blend of deluded, patronising, pseudointellectual ignorance that gets up the collective nose of this messageboard like lines of cayenne pepper, and it does not surprise me one bit that your shit is fucked up (you come across as a maniac)

fuck youuuuuuuu

But I digress.

To get back to the "Welcome To The BDSM Talk Forum":

1. No spam / No promoting of other websites.
2. No personals ads (they go here BDSM Personals )
3. No posting of another's personal information
4. No posting of your own private email address
5. No personal threats
6. No posting of copyrighted images

Well, clearly the various discussions merged into this thread don't fit any of those categories.

If they did, I'm sure the mod would have removed them, not merged them.

Adherance to the rules is encouraged out of respect to all the users of the forum. Admittedly it is easy to make an honest mistake when you are in unfamiliar territory, and for that reason the moderator whose responsibility it is to ensure they are respected will attempt to be fair and helpful in letting you know if you have overstepped any set guidelines/rules, and where possible will allow the poster to correct the mistake themselves. If that is not possible, and that is subject to the moderator's decision and the view of posters on the forum, the moderator will take steps to correct the problem and notify the relevant poster with an explanation as soon as possible.

That sounds reasonable, except for one problem.

No one has notified me of any infraction.

Odd, don't you think?

In the Talk forum, our focus is on discussion of BDSM and it's associated sexuality and/or lifestyle choices in real life relationships

No problem there.

As for the rest, there seems to be no infractions even comparable to what has occurred in the the 'ethics' of casual 'bdsm' discussion.

So much for the rules contained in the Welcome To The BDSM Talk Forum.

No one has notified me as to what rulle I've broken, and if indeed the intent of the forum is to encourage "a diversity of BDSM discussions" then why merge a diverse variety of discussions into one thread?

Let's look at the Forum Rules

We have rule 9:

9. Flooding the forum with posts, screen-breaking text, or images - or bumping old threads - and/or any non-substantive activity with the intent of disrupting the forum is prohibited.

Now in what way is one flooding a forum with non-substantive posts when one posts a variety of topics?

What about when Etoile bumped an eight year old discussion here?

What about CutieMouse bumping a seven year old discussion here?

There were many examples of old threads bumped so as to bury the new topics I'd posted.

Are we to believe the solution was to reward the 'bumpers' who broke Rule 9 by merging the discussions which were posted to increase the diversity of bdsm disussion here?

Instead of encouraging diversity the mod is encouraging the bumping of old threads contrary to Rule 9?

Anything else goes. You may post whatever you like. Consequently, so can everyone else. The administrators here don't believe they are anyone's parents nor are they anyone's Jiminy Cricket. It's not their responsibility to make sure that everyone on the site uses free speech responsibly. It's up to individual users to be responsible for themselves. For those who are not, the programmers at Jelsoft have added an ignore function for your convenience. Just go here and add the user you don't want to deal with anymore.

In short, we believe in the First Amendment, and offensive content will not be removed unless it breaks one of the rules.

Not removed, just merged into a mish-mash of diverse discussions without so much as a notification as to which rule is alleged to have been broken.

Apparently this is not considered interference with the "First Amendment".

Apparently this is how Literotica 'encourages' diversity.

Women are far more likely to be killed by the one that 'loves' them the most than by some random act of violence from a stranger, or even a casual stranger. If you took all monogamous BDSM relationships and put them side by side with every casual encounter, likely the unwanted violence occurs exponentially more in the loving and committed relationships. People would rather destroy what they love than lose what they love.

BLoved is loved too much, much too much by Literotica.

Can you think of any other reason my discussions were merged and I was not notified regarding any rule infraction?

Because you act like a spoiled little boy perhaps? Take it up with the owners if you have a problem.

~smile~

I ride with the punches.

If anything this gives me yet more credibility when I talk of being banned and persecuted.

Now its official.

Twenty three topics made, twenty-three survived. I don't see where the problem is aside from that his name isn't covering the front page.

We still have all those "MOVE TO" messages with my name on them.

So much for that theory.

And even if true, it doesn't explain merging so many diverse topics into one thread.

That's just dumb.

I think the fact that your topics were merged together was notification enough.
If you somehow didn't notice it, I'd think you were blind, but you did see it, so...

Inventing rules and failing to notify is a hell of a way to demonstrate a commitment to the "First Amendment".

But being singled out for this treatment, just looks like official harassment.

And the sympathy of so many casual players certainly doesn't do anything to change that appearance.

So you have an inability to read the rules page to find out what you did wrong, too? :D

We have lots in common. You're my new best buddy. ^_^

Put her there, pal! *Hugs*

Went through that here

No discussions deleted or moved out of the forum, so none of them broke a rule.

No notification, so no other rule broken.

No rules broken, yet the mod decides to merge several discussions, thus mixing responses without any indication to which thread they appeared in.

And no notification of why.

How is this encouraging diversity?

BLoved, consider this your official notification.

The owner of the site, Laurel, has informed me that your threads were merged so they did not continue to dominate the front page, pushing the threads of other users onto subsequent pages. This is not censorship, as all of your posts were left intact, except the ones you edited yourself. It is a tidying of the forum to keep it running smoothly for all members.

I have been given permission to merge further threads of yours, if you persist in spamming the board. If you do it again, you will be given a warning. If you continue after that, you will be banned from Literotica.

This is straight from Laurel, the one person with the authority to ban you, so you would be well advised to avoid creating multiple threads again.

Just as long as we know no rules were broken, and the persecution is official, I have no problem with the arbitrary way in which this was done.

Thank you for passing on the message publicly.
