It's time for single-payer

USA CAD

And yes, you're totally right, you're only bankrupt when people call in their debts, and you cant pay them.

I'd totally forgotten about the republicans not letting Obama to go past the absolute debt ceiling until he left it until a week that that the US could no longer meet their repayments, then the republicans caved.

Definition of bankrupt may vary, just ask California.

I know what debts and deficits are. You said "Bankrupt". Don't you tire of being inflammatory and wrong?

No, but then again, I so seldom are.

Feel free to show me all those times I was inflammatory and wrong.

Hell, I even said I was wrong just up there, and you skipped that, and just went to inflammatory and wrong.

I guess you wish you were Donald Trump.

You get a gold star today!
You finally made a remark that makes sense! :D
Now, how best to enact a public option when ALL of the Democrats are in favor of it and virtually NONE of the Republicans are in favor of this?
Teh Devil's in teh details.

Maybe we should ask little Que, he knows stuff.
The best chance would be for President Trump to get behind it. He made several promises in his campaign that could be met that way.

If that was true then ACA would been on point instead of the bullshit quasi-corporate scam that it is and the Republicans would have repealed that fucker the first chance they had.

Both parties are so full of shit, always talking that good shit until it's time to produce and then it's right back to the same ol' shit, selling out to get them campaign dollars and big money favors after their time in "service". Even when they have total control they can't manage to do any of the shit they promise, even when they half ass it they have to charge us 200,000,000x MSRP pricing.

I think as long as we are trying to do a one size fits all in DC, red M'aricuh vs blue M'aricuh is just going to result in pure shit, because this country is pretty far from 1 size fits all. They get us all pissed and take advantage of it.

CA and NY need to just lead the way and start offering free HC and basic income to anyone who can make it there to sign up for it!! Prove the utopia project is as good as they think it is. All the people who want to be part of that will move there and those who don't can go libertarian it up in Alaska or Montana and the Jesus freaks can all go suffer in the dark ages of the bible belt. But....control freaks gotta control freak so no chance in "we're going to do this, and you do you, best of luck!!" ever happening.

if i were an american able to vote in the last election, i'd have voted for bernie.

I had Blue Cross for 20 years, then went into the VA system. There's no comparison. Vette's nonsense aside, the VA is a million times better.

As an aside, and also as an  to vette's ill informed nonsense, more then half the country is already on a government provided health care system

It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in Johnny's words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men.

The Communists have won. :(

Yes...the government hasn't fucked up healthcare enough so let's get them more involved and finish the job once and for all.

It's time for single prayer

The one prayer: OH GOD DON'T LET ME GET SICK!

The Commonwealth Fund (New York) recently compared ten other countries to the USA over various healthcare criteria. They concluded that US provided care that was of poor quality in many areas at 35% more cost than the next most expensive, (Switzerland). All of the alternatives bar one were mixed private/public funding - like the USA, but all had far greater control of expenditure than the USA.

Unfortunately I cannot get the report to upload from OZ.

Personally, I think that the USA is just too damn big to have a single system (expending 10%+ of GDP) Germany covering 80 million people would be about 25% of any US wide system and the Germans have significant issues with their services.

Are you arguing they've done a good job?

LOL

They have done an admirable job given the constraints of a democratic Republic, which by definition requires compromise solutions.

I realize your "all or nothing" mindset regards that as "failure". Must suck for you to be a simple-minded ideologue in complex times. "Bumper sticker" solutions play well on Fox, but not so well in "real life" as you and Trump are learning.

Its time for the Libs to be upfront and honest. Run on a single payer platform. Please

Compromise like when (D)'s promised hope and change, comprehensive HC reform and delivered Romneycare instead?

LOL

They can't figure out how to do something pretty much every other 1st world nation can do? Charging us almost 5x MSRP with an endless budget but they can't even get everyone their shots and an annual check up?

But that's an admirable job?

Must suck having such low standards Rob, does explain the DNC and their ardent supporters though. :D

I realize your "all or nothing" mindset regards that as "failure".

So then you're considering US Healthcare a success then?

Must suck for you to be a simple-minded ideologue in complex times.

Said the communist to the nihilist LOL

LOL.....Hope and Change buddy!!! LMFAO!!!

We spend more per capita than any other country in the world on health care, and it's still not great healthcare.

Only when the government is paying (price gouging tax payers).

If you're paying cash prices come WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY down. Especially in the drug department.

It's not the bomb shiznit.

It is if you're not poor.
