I suspect that this is just the closest they can bring themselves to "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year..."
Lifelong entrenched bureaucrats who actually run most government agencies and reliably vote Democrat (for job security). The figurehead never calls the shots and if he tries to, the deep state has a way of exacting revenge.

I think for some libs there is deep, hidden guilt during the holidays. I know of several lefties who have thus far “Hunter Biden-ed” their way through life — meaning, they live off of mommy and daddy. Imagine pretending you’re “down with the cause” when you’ve spent your entire existence with a full fridge, located in a neighborhood where every driveway is home to a Lexus. You show me an Antifa meeting, and I’ll show you a bunch of rich kids who have never worked and whose parents never said no to them. Yet they don their Che Guevera t-shirts and play the role of the revolutionary, knowing full well that when their little commie meeting is over, mumsy left some organic, plant-based meatloaf for them in the fridge back home.

His comment was just an attempt to link Trump to the fact that Trump was banned by Twitter (at the behest of the FBI and DHS). Which makes no sense but that's how it is with most Lefty social policies even on days when they're on their meds.

The FBI and Twitter pre-Elon Musk were confronted with an un-vetted “laptop” which appeared at a similar time in the 2020 presidential election cycle as the verified Russian hacking effort occurred in the 2016 election cycle.
The fact that the NY Post was / is a partisan rag and was working with a disgraced individual to peddle the “laptop” story only added to suspicions about the validity of ALL the material on the “laptop”.
In hindsight, The FBI and Twitter were perfectly justified in their actions to not amplify the story or the investigation, as the verified “e-mails” are a NOTHING. BURGER, and the majority of the material on the hard drive is unverifiable or totally inconsequential.
The usual suspects got a boner over some “e-mails” - again, and thought decent intelligent Americans would get as excited as they were. Womp Womp Womp.
