Just Outside My Window

Hmmmm sitting on the beach...having tropical drinks served to me...taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean...reading a book while relaxing on a hammock...enjoying activities set up by a resort during the day and maybe a show or two at night...Ahhhh yes....*sigh*

Or a cabin in the mnts...a fire lit by the resort...waiting for me...a glass of wine or perhaps a spot of brandy....soft music in the background as I read....heading out for a hike and/or fishing...or some white water rafting one day, fishing a few days...a hike one day or two...and plenty of quiet time in the evenings....Wow...both options sound ideal to me :cathappy:
now that does sound nice. Then I would probably book an all inclusive resort in St Lucia or the bahama's and just drift away ..

That is what I did when I went to Jamaica....all inclusive is theee way to go...food 24/7, drinks 24/7, activities galore....service that cannot be beat....That is definitely the way to go and I recommend that to all :D

Too bad Steve can't get a week off....but I definely am going to go somewhere for a week and get away from everything. :)

Hehehe When I told Steve I was going to go, even if I have to go alone, he changed his mind and found time to take off for 5 days with me LOL
Now I just have to get my older brother to keep Phil for me so I can go

We did the Chesapeake Bay Bridge walk this weekend and thought we would share a few pics. And give this thread a little bump.
They shut down the eastbound span, made the westbound span 2 ways, and we all walked from the east side to the west side, just outside of Annapolis.
They were also holding a stage of the Volvo Race Around the World sailing race right where we were. We stopped and waited about 30 minutes for the race to start and took a few pics.

More...we had fun

Hey, lady!! Where have you been?

Did you just get married?

How has your life been?

Fill me in on some of the details. Long time no see!

Hi ya JPaul!

No I am not married...My sister got married... :) We went up to Deep Creek, Maryland for the wedding...I took tons of photos of the wedding and of the trip.

Life has been rather....interesting of late, but my getting married was not part of it...lol

Well, just as long as you're alright. Don't be such a stranger!

I'm primarily a lurker, but I can generally glean what I need to know.

But not always...

Deep Creek

I don't post here very often, but I've been to DeepCreek. I grew up in Hagerstown and have been there water skiing and close by on snow mobile. It brings back memories from years ago.
I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did when much younger. :D
