It was an author called Spider Robinson, one of his characters was describing "number 1 hugs" where you hug with your whole body touching, unlike "A type hugs" where you hug with your shoulders and get further away downwards..... again same idea

Thats a no 1 hug, kissings the same, a "peck on the cheek" is wasted between friends and lovers (o familly is a different story....)
