Leather and Lace

Keri opens her eyes finally, looking around a bit confused "What happened?" she tries to sit up but groans and winces. "Love, where am I?"

 

[JenJ]

Juli laid Keri back down. "Your at the hosptial. You got hit over the head and you opened your other wounds again."

Kallie heard her phone beep and knew she had mail but she wasn't about to leave Katelyn's side just yet.

Jen sighed a bit after she hung up the phone after leaving Kallie voice mail. "Big sis I'll be in tomorrow."

Keri looks up at Juli, shock suddenly washing over her face "Where's Katelyn? Is she ok? Did they hurt her?" She grabs Juli's arm holding her tightly as panic takes over.

Katelyn's body remains still, fighting the fever that it is burning her up. Her heart beat slowly gaining strength however.

 

[JenJ]

Juli looked at Keri. "Calm yourself. Katelyn's here remember you took Krystall out I was concerened I followed you."

Kallie soothed over Katelyn's brow again noticing that her heartbeat was perking up a little bit. "That's it Katelyn."

Keri watches Juli for a moment then looks ashamed "I'm sorry. Can I please be moved into the room with Katelyn? please?"

Katelyn's heart rate remains steady at that pace for the rest of the day, her fever dropping a little but respiking occassionally. The infection having gone to her blood from weeks of untended cuts.

 

[JenJ]

Juli nodded. "Of course then we can spell Kallie for a bit too."

Kallie continued to sooth over Katelyn's body gently. The nurse came back in. "Her fever is coming and going. I think she has an infection."

The nurse nodded. "She does from the unattended cuts."

Keri smiles a bit and lays her head back down, waiting to be moved. She shakes her head and glances up "What's the IV for Juli?"

Katelyn struggles for a moment Kallie runs her hands over her body, her vitals picking up momentarily then dropping back to where they had been.

 

[JenJ]

Juli pushed the bed into Katelyn's room. "It's antibotic drip to stop infection."

Kallie soothed her hands over Katelyn gently. "Katelyn it's okay." She noticed Keri and looked shocked. "That one goes down later. Juli would you keep a hold of her hand a moment my phone beeped."

Juli walked over and took Katelyn's hand as Kallie walked out and listened to her mail.

Kallie dialed. "Lil sis come to the hospital."

Jen gasped. "What's wrong?"

Kallie replied. "Nothing with me. Krystall and Lesette got another one she's here and she struck my fancy."

Jen replied. "Okay I'll come there then."

Keri watches Katelyn from the bed the best she can, her first instinct is to yank out the IV and chase Krystall down. She is so full of anger that she sets her own heart monitor off for a moment. Upon hearing that she starts to calm down a bit, forcing herself to watch her love. Keri watches angrily then reaches down for her belt, blushing as she realizes she is naked. "I need my radio"

Katelyn's vitals remain steady.

 

[JenJ]

Juli looks at Keri. "Stay calm and I'll get your radio once Kallie returns and don't you dare rip the iv out."

Kallie returned to the room and took ahold of Katelyn's hand again. "You are safe."


Juli went and returned with Keri's radio. "Here Keri."

Keri looks at Juli with a bit of mock frown "I hate when you do that to me...." She waits for the radio then smiles when Juli returns, kissing her hand. She calls into the chief "Sir, I umm... Well. I was attacked while escorting a trouble maker out to her car. "
Police Chief "Same one from last night at the club?"

"Yes, same one that caused the problem at L&L. "

Police Chief: "Lets keep that much quiet so the town doesn't riot."

" I know, I am keeping quiet about it because I don't want it shut down. No.. well.. all my stitches were ripped out." She glances at Juli "Oh she told you already. Well.. Yes I fired. I think I hit someone named Lesette Jenkin's or Krystall Murphee. Not sure though. I just fired out of instinct. Yes... Please do something about this before I enact some vigilante justice."

Police Chief "I will see what I can do."

 

[JenJ]

Juli smiled at Keri and listened to her speaking with the Police cheif.

Kallie just held onto Katelyn's hand. "You are safe."

Kallie waited until Keri's conversastion was done. "Jen flys in tomorrow."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri folds her arms across her chest then winces at the pain "Kallie... Didn't you inherit a jet?"

Katelyn's vitals yoyo for a bit for no apparent reason.

Keri watches the monitors and frowns, her anger rising again. She watches Juli, just waiting for her to leave the room for a moment.

 

[JenJ]

Kallie looked at Katelyn still holding onto Katelyn's hand. "I do but she had a plane ticket all ready."

Juli looked at Keri. "I'm not leaving."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri sighs, wincing as her head starts to hurt again. She lays back down fully and sulks, trying to plan something out in her head. She doesn't even bother to respond to Kallie's answer.

 

[JenJ]

Juli went over to Keri and rubbed her temples soflty.

Kallie smiled. "She wouldn't have taken the jet anyway to many memories for her to handle."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri closes her eyes and sighs as her temples are rubbed, she yawns stretches a bit "You two need to take turns sleeping she has tiredly as the injury pushes at her to sleep."

 

[JenJ]

Juli stayed by Keri still. She looked at Kallie. "You'd prefer to just stay as you are as would I."

Kallie nodded and continued to hold Katelyn's hand. "Yes."

Keri reaches over and places a hand on Katelyn's chest, wanting so bad to be in the bed with her and holding her. She feels her heart beating under her hand and starts to relax, finally drifting off to sleep

 

[JenJ]

Juli just rests her hands on Keri's head softy watching her with Katie. "Soon you can be in bed with her."

Kallie squeezed Katie's hand softly. "You are safe Katelyn."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri hears those words in her sleep and smiles as she dozes peacefully, the only thing keeping between her and nasuea at the moment from the head injury. She doesn't wake up again till near midnight, the room is dark and blinks trying to focus her eyes.

 

[JenJ]

Juli took a little nap while Keri slept and she noticed that Keri had awakened. "Your safe love."


Kallie dozed herself making sure to hold onto Katelyn's hand the entired time. "Katelyn your safe."

 

[DustyWolfe]

Keri turns her head and sees Juli sitting sleepily in a chair. She scoots against the rail of her bed toward Katelyn and lifts the covers, looking directly at Juli not really caring that she is unclothed beneath. "Please? I just want to feel you close right now."

Katelyn's vitals fluctuate until she hears Kallie's voice then she calms back down again, her legs moving a little bit.

 

[JenJ]

Juli lifted the rail down. "Carefully love."

Kallie continued to hold onto Katelyn's hand.

Keri giggles "Ummm.. That's not exactly what I was thinking love. I wanted you to lay with me for a bit. I don't know that I'm brave enough to hold Katelyn yet, she's far too fragile. Please?" She then looks at Kallie, "maybe later when Jen gets here you should try holding Kately"
