Your LIT closest friend and the rest of you did. You're not denying it and accusing others of telling, shows you admitting to it. Just look at the posts on this thread, females are admitting it. A few years ago I got majority, horribly played here. What made it worse was that other people knew about this person and her games and went out of their way to not warn me or tell me. I knew absolutely nothing about any of this and was blind-sided when it all came out. People literally said things like "I knew what she was all about for awhile but I didn't want to say anything because it wasn't my business." Other people chimed in with the ever so helpful advice of "don't treat this place like a dating website" (which doesn't do anything after the fact). I don't make it a habit to "date" here so comments like that just don't apply. The whole experience was horrifying and humiliating. And it could have been completely preventable if someone said something.

I don't fault people for being in situations like bad marriages or whatever. Just fucking BE REAL. Don't fuck with people's emotions. Don't catfish. Don't invent some persona to make you feel better about yourself. If you see some shit, if you know someone to be a creep, you absolutely should say something.

I’ve never denied talking to my friends. If they cry to me or want a hug, I am there. As they are with me.

No one talks about you like that. Ever. So, no worries.

I've always tried to keep it real around here.

Trouble is, very few here want real. The majority want a local block and a bandaid, when what's really needed is general anesthesia and extensive ablation.


To tell the truth, there are quite a few posters that had I been unlucky enough to meet in real life, I'd be hard pressed not to take them out back and pistol whip them.

But hey, it's the Playground, right?

It's all in good fun, right?

And that's supposed to make up for it all, right?

Yeah, no.

I decided not to waste my energy on anyone who didn't deserve it. And the amount of energy expended during a proper whipping would most definitely be a waste.

The best anyone can do is take care of himself. You can't change anyone but yourself, and the more expectation you give to this place (or anything, for that matter) , the more likely you are to be disappointed.
