I reckon the Admiral has it about right with his prediction of 10 1/2 to 5 1/2 at the end of the day.

I never went back to review my predictions for yesterday morning's matches, though I suspect they were sadly off the mark.

Nor did I but I think we were all off the mark as nobody expected any side to do as well as the Europeans did.

What I do know though is that I am beating Cate at the moment by only 1/2 a point in our little wager

Personally I don't know what's so beautiful about it. Its dull and miserable here and somehow the golf has lost its brightness today - but I'm not worried
