Let's talk Tattoo

I find that art of tattoo very erotic. A well-done piece of work is beautiful and at times, quite sensual.

I have 5, all which have special meaning to me.

#1. A small bat on my ankle, my first.
#2. A design on my upper chest, above my left breast, that although somewhat of a distraction now, was drawn by a very dear friend and represents a specific and very memorable time in my life.
#3. A ring of shamrocks and white flowers on a vine, wraps around my right ankle. Also drawn by a close friend. Representing my Irish heritage.
#4. A Native American Medicine Card. The design is somewhat similar to a Dream Catcher, but represents your Totem Animals. My cards were "read" to me by a Lakota woman, and one of my Totem animals is the Whale, the record keeper. That is the card I have on my right calf.
#5. I have been looking for a butterfly design for quite sometime but could not find one that suited my personality. Again, a friend drew up a design for me, incorporating a beautiful butterfly as well as some tribal designs. That is my newest, on my upper back, right between my shoulder blades. That one has also become quite the erogenous zone for me. Any finger tips (or tongue) tracing the design, sends me into fits of pleasure.

I also find the tattoo process very erotic as well. It hovers on that delightful place between pleasure and pain and have never failed to become somewhat turned on while being tattooed.

I am currently working on one for my lower back, as well as a Tree of Life design for my left calf.

Wish I had some photos to post!

I looove tat's...so interesting to look at, and damn sexy (if done well). I can't even explain why I love to see a nice tat on a man, but I do!

I don't have any, but I plan on getting one...just not sure what yet.

My grandfather has a traditional Samoan Pe'a...ink pounded into his skin from mid-back all the way down to his knees. Very intricate....very painful (so he says)...but so damn cool.

Thanks badmatt, and anyone else who gave suggestions on Dragon tat's for me. Should I ever get the money, and can find a tat place, I'll come here for the suggestions.

I have just the one tat... for the time being.

It was done by a beautician using pigment inks, so the colours are quite intense.

I have a red rose, complete with stem, on the underside of my left breast.

I love the idea that the only people who have seen it, are those that I've undressed for.

My tats

I was a late bloomer I got my first tat at 22 a chinese character sort of picked on the spur of the moment while my Hubby was getting his elbow done. BIG MISTAKE! I hated it so I spent the next 7 years waiting and designing and finally got it covered (im gonna try to attach a pic) 2 weeks later i got my second (or is it third) Which is the symbol for infinity to match our wedding bands with the inscription forever and a day with a blue starburst int he bacl ground. I am waiting a lil bit to go for my next one.. $$$ It is going to be The Great Mother pregnant with the earth on my lower back with celtic going out over my lower back. I am addicted! My hubby has 2 full sleeves a back peice and 2 on his legs and keeps going for more! Hope the pic works!

well here they are

Three of them were erased in copyiing them from the camera to the disk but here is one.

Remember they are home jobs and I am having problems keeping the ink in, as well as the fact they are not done quite yet.

Great designs! I can see what u mean about having ink trouble tho. What brand are u using and are u hand inking or using a gun?

Wow......

I've read all the explainations of the tatts, and they all sound great. I looked at all the pictures too. Wow, very impressive.......I already posted on the first page what mine is, so I won't bore you again, I just wanted to say all your tatt pictures are awesome and once i get a picture of my tatt I'll post here right away.

SLM,

I can't recomend any specific ink, but... Pick up any Tattoo magazine (I prefer tattoo review) and they contain ads that sell ink. You can even get a fairly good quality starter kit for not very much money. Note to all: I don't recomend that everyone in the world order a starter kit for tattooing. That would be bad. :( SLM is doing some fine work on herself with a homemade gun and she may benefit from one. Good Luck, SLM.

Here y'all go. Another of my tats. Enjoy it.

Yep... sure have, you haven't seen how it sits on my breast, or my breast itself for that matter..

That's true, LB. And I can't argue with you at all about it. ;)

Tattos are stunning if they are done right. I have been contemplating for years on getting one. I would want the zodiac symbol for cancer(since I am one;) ), the "69" and have a dragon of some type going through both holes, kindawrapping itself around the symbol as if protecting it.

I have 2 tattoos. The first one I got is a red rose with a bleeding heart over my left breast. I got this one because my then husband (ex now) told me I couldn't. So to prove him wrong I had it done. My other tattoo is of Winnie the Pooh holding 3 balloons with my children's initals in them. Those are the only names/initials I would put on my body. I got the first one as a sign of independece and free will, the second I got so that no matter where I am or how old my children are I'll always have them and their child-like innocence with me.

I have 5 tatts, the pics of them are on another tattoo thread. I got the first one after my husband talked me into gettting one. I got the rest because I feel they reflect on who I am and what I like. Of course getting them done for free helps.

If I could get mine for free I'd probably have 5 as well...LOL I'd like to get a couple more. My very conservative boyfriend doesn't agree with me. But then again, he knows the story behind the first one so he doesn't say NO about them...LOL I'd like to get the Celtic Sun around my belly button, and 3 cherub angels resting on clouds on my shoulder (that one would take alot of patience, time and endurance).

i think they are soooo cool

i think tattoos are just about too cool...i dont have one though :(
dont really know why...always been kinda scared to get one....not so much the pain but worried i may not want it one day...but i think they are sooooooo sexy...i just love a guy that has one or even more...gives me the vibe he may be a bit of a bad boy...and that is a definite turn on...so, thumbs up to tattoos here...;)
