Grishno was one of the first trans folk I regularly checked in with online! I have so much love for a lot of their stuff!I mentioned older YouTubers who used to post regularly, so I looked them up. Hey Grishno - she's such a responsible, rational woman and I still have her on follow but this one didn't get highlighted by google.

There was one gal friend I had way back on an old forum site caled Gaia Online, she was the first trans person Id ever met and we became fast friends online. She helped me more than she'll probably ever know.
She dropped off of all internet presence and the world suddenly one day.

I read a book called 'Yes You Are Trans Enough' by Mia Violet a ways back and she mentioned hanging out on Gaia Online with a small group of diverse friends. I always wished I had someplace like that to go back when I was so damn confused an lost....
It is cool you have positive memories of people you knew there!

Its morning, my hair is washed, I'm slouching around the house drinking my first cuppa tea, but I really gotta get going!
I have to work today, and there is a potluck with friends tonight, so I should start prepping, washing, cutting veggies an salad stuff.
Still sleepy tho, and it's cold out!!!
Ah well theres always music to get me going! Good awesome fun day to y'all!

Its a perfectly lazy Saturday afternoon here. Got my cleaning done and now Im gonnadive into Dragon Age till its time to go.

Had a useful couple of hours at the sailing club, then home to put the washing on ( cos the elecs cheaper at certain times ) Then in the middle of the 2nd wash the frickin power went off; no phone signal either. Went and had a nap, then went for a hour's walk but took a detour to make it 1.5 and the power was still off. Had another nap. We decided to buy a pizza, drove around till we found one ( first time for everything ) got home to find the power back on. Hooray!!
Bought pizzas are SO salty!
Achy legs now - I walk extra fast to get fit.

Wearing: boring jeans & fleece
Mood: strangely upbeat

Well this popped up on a feed... Vivian Jenna Wilson interview with Teen Vogue
I had to smile reading her expressions - at the 'cringe' and 'bitch' that made me feel very old, as it is intended and should! I can't imagine the extra pressure of having a ex-father like that must bring - as if being trans wasn't enough. That she's been able to navigate that and thrive, is a credit to her own intelligence and to her mother.
I've quoted a couple of lines that struck me as being incredibly insightful...
"Your perception of someone is a very small glance of what they're choosing to let you into. To judge everything a person says or someone says online as what they really believe is dumb."
I've been troubled by the alt-right leanings of some Gen-Zs but Vivian shows there is still some hope.

I very much enjoyed reading her interview too. I liked what I perceived as her sense of defiance to her so called parental unit....
I know I shouldn't be surprised, but there are really humans that are in fact that much of an ***hole to others, as that guy is.
I read a short interview with the muskrat's first partner. He comes off as a way controlling, autocratic sort. I'm sure we've all met them in our lives.
I've read that some within the queer community have trouble accepting anything from queers like Vivian or Dylan Mulvaney, both apparently born with huge resources available to them, but to me the important thing is how they choose to use them.
So I too am hopeful knowing some like Vivian are out there

Here I am, still in bed, delightfully warm an snuggly, I want to get up soon but this is sooo comfy 
I'm in the big city for a few days, having huge amounts of fun! Movies, bookstores, queer bars
even responsible things like checking in with my gender doc, she is so sweet
