I'm turning in for the night. I have no clue as to how to fix the photo or maybe I am just too tired or too lazy tonight

Ya'll have a great one and get some rest.
Seems like we all might need it this time'ah year ~

peace to you and yours ~ :rose:

Dearest Anna and Rhyme Fairy

I have no desire to "fix" the photo, out of focus is what I was hoping for. Hubby took the pic, and he has this tremor, has had it all his life, its called an "essential tremor" some people have them, some dont, my oldest daughter got it from him, my yougest didnt.

he cant hold a camera steady but he makes the most beautiful wrought iron you have ever seen.

Thanks for caring

An Angel

Her bottom lip
trembles, and her eyes
are dead. The stars
have dimmed and even
the bright lights
of the Christmas tree
no longer bring colour
to her cheeks.
Yet there she sits
surrounded by green
and gold, a candle
held in outstretched hands
always ready
to hear my prayers.

True to the season, at times eh ~
Beautiful and heartfelt, love the ambiance here ~~

there once was a gypsy
known as the sloth, madame tipsy
who drank warm scotch from a bucket

she couldnt read tarot
her vagina too narrow
her crystal ball still there

I cannot relay
the feelings one goes through,
the pain and suffering
of being left.
un-whole in this time 'n space
where once stood two.
now, single digits count down
falling tears ...

from the pond of the night a small green frog
lands on my window-screen outside

you live without that someone
who used to be your life

and now that summer frog every night ...

===========

a difficult summer

thru the other end of a telescope
you are a small green frog
your piercing jewish eyes
are two black dots

pardon... ? of course... no telescope...
black ink has replaced the air outside
the frog is real
comes to my window every night

the stone-wind nowhere seen
but the small bellies of the dying
ripples on the water
pregnant with her
who was pregnant with them

she was the stone-wind who delivered
my pain across the mirror

hadnt heard this song in a long, long time

Artist: Animals
Song: Sky Pilot
Album: Best Of 1966-68
[" Best Of 1966-68 " CD]

He blesses the boys as they stand in line
The smell of gun grease and the bayonets they shine
He's there to help them all that he can
To make them feel wanted he's a good holy man
Sky pilot.....sky pilot
How high can you fly
You'll never, never, never reach the sky

He smiles at the young soldiers
Tells them its all right
He knows of their fear in the forthcoming fight
Soon there'll be blood and many will die
Mothers and fathers back home they will cry
Sky pilot.....sky pilot
How high can you fly
You'll never, never, never reach the sky

He mumbles a prayer and it ends with a smile
The order is given
They move down the line
But he'll stay behind and he'll meditate
But it won't stop the bleeding or ease the hate

As the young men move out into the battle zone
He feels good, with God you're never alone
He feels tired and he lays on his bed
Hopes the men will find courage in the words that he said
Sky pilot.....sky Pilot
How high can you fly
You'll never, never, never reach the sky

(Interlude)

You're soldiers of God you must understand
The fate of your country is in your young hands
May God give you strength
Do your job real well
If it all was worth it
Only time it will tell

In the morning they return
With tears in their eyes
The stench of death drifts up to the skies
A young soldier so ill looks at the sky pilot
Remembers the words
"Thou shalt not kill"
Sky pilot.....sky pilot
How high can you fly
You never, never, never reach the sky

That was about my poem boolean friendship.

Thank you, calliope.

PS You do know the term boolean, don't you?

In the age of "for prescription refills press 2" it always feels good to hear a human voice. Especially one that stutters, dangles participles, gets distracted by a ladybug crawling on the wall.... I enjoy the less than professional interactions. It is reflected too in my taste for poetry and smiles. Perfection is in crooked teeth.

Some people stand high up on a ladder afraid their feet will get muddy or god forbid a mouse run by. And it is the mouse that matters. The things that run through our day and make us gasp and forget our size, our intelligence, our power, our routine. It is the mud that matters. You do not want to be a polished boot placed on a padded shelf any more than I do.

Uh, yes, I do.
Wait! Sorry, no, I dont.

Here you go:

George Boole -- wikipedia
George Boole -- MacTutor

Both "AND" and "OR" are boolean algebra operations. Also "either_or", but it is abbreviated to "XOR" (for "exclusive or"). Then "neither" is another boolean operation, called "NOR", while NAND stands for "not both".

my left hand is beginning to hurt

the muscles feel swollen and painful

I never thought this out before but I think your onto something here. ;)
Thank you for the reminder ... think outside the box.
This is something I try to remind my children and self ...
