When I use my Samsung Android Tablet on Chrome all the post formatting features are greyed out and unavailable. Anyone know the answer to this?

I think something's been tweaked, because I haven't logged in for several days with this pen name, and every thread I view today momentarily shows the first few letters of the username in the avatar section, and then it is replaced by the ava. In my case, it finally shows my most recently uploaded ava everywhere now, including in the control panel where you edit it.

If something hasn't been tweaked, then time may be your friend with regards to newly uploaded or cropped avas. Hardly ideal, but a potential solution. I just adjusted the cropping of mine so the text isn't cut off, and I'm going to leave it alone for several days to see what happens.

I would like a link between the forums and the chat home page.
Once you're here, you're trapped on the forum side.
I can't even get back to the main Literotica start page or the stories section (the whole point of Lit to begin with).
At least if I could get to the start page I could jump to those other parts of Lit easily.
If I want to go back, the only way to do it is to go through my profile's control panel which has a link to the start page on there.

Trying to get to the other sections of Lit from the forums feels like a teenager sneaking in the back door after curfew.

LOL I was seeing Les' new ava everywhere in this pen name earlier, which is what prompted me to log in as Les and see how things looked. Now that I've switched back to this ID, I'm seeing Les' old ava again. This is a truly baffling bug.

I’d like to be able to delete conversations. I’m not sure what the point of leave conversation is, since it comes back as soon as the person replies. I want to delete previous messages since the string can be pages long.

My needing to log in twice seems to be fixed. Thank you

I second the known issue list (can’t recall who suggested it).

Also agree about the stop bickering request.

I'd like to be able to delete individual messages, too. For deleting the whole thread, you can choose to "Ignore" future messages, I think that would prevent it from coming back if the person replies again.

Reloading the home page after leaving the browser makes it go into an infinite loop of reloading, making it try to reload over and over again. You have to close the tab and renavigate back to the home page.

Address cropping of Avatars.
Disable display of posted images.
Adjust Sort Order to Newest First for those that want it.
Display Profile Pictures from Story Side

List/display previously uploaded Attachments for access, deletion and reuse.

There was a mention above about VBB having a paperclip icon that when clicked would display all images and attachments posted to a thread.

There was also a way to see all the IDs of members who had posted to a given thread, the number opf their posts within that thread and to display only their posts within that thread. Useful when searching for a specific post that didn't come up in other searches.

This forum is so fucked up. AVs not working, people still locked out or can't login. What's the point of having a new forum with these problems going on. Either fix this POS of a forum or bring back the old one. There were hardly any problems with the last one.

The profile picture issue is simply that the new image is assigned the same file name, based on your member id. The old image is stored in your device/computer browser cache. If you clear your browser cache the new image will be in place. It will clear soon by itself even if you don't.

there are image cache lifetime and image cache refresh settings for ZenForo - depending how they are set will determine how long older versions of profile pictures remain - but meanwhile I cleared my browser cache and you no longer appear as a dick head - sorry typo there, a dick in ya face

Maybe a work around is to delete profile picture from profile first - save - then upload new profile picture. I have not looked at the process so that approach is merely a guess.

Something for you to ponder, imagine if there was advertising throughout the forum or the forum was behind a paywall - but we are so very fortunate - they don't even promote their own Literotica revenue pages on the forum.

The old forum was a timebomb waiting to happen - it was based on VERY old coding/platform and it was astounding that it wasn't hacked. All your private messages and associated signup email account address could have become public - would you really want to go back to that?

I know. I just read his post. I've refreshed my page a few times since I been here this morning and it hasn't changed.... so that's a good sign. I never uploaded an AV on the story side, so I don't know if it's there. I'll go look later.

There used to be a link a the end of all the pages in the forums that would take you directly to the HOME page of Literotica (Literotica.com) but it has disappeared. And when you typed in a URL it automatically assumed it was a URL and would make it a link. Not anymore.

how did you try to put in a letter?

i clicked on my icon/name top right, then clicked on my av that shows up in the new screen and hit 'delete', which removed my av and replaced it, automatically, with a letter B.

Letters are assigned automatically when you can post an AV now, I would assume. Under the old system you just had a blank AV where now they assign the first letter of you user name as your AV. Like Google does.

well i've left it alone (other than illustrating the av-to-letter thing) and all of a sudden my japanese av is showing up (in most places) on the forum. yay!

Whenever you click on "Home" or even the Literotica logo in the upper left corner, it takes you back to the home page of the forum. There isn't a link that takes you back to Literotica.com start page. Also, a smaller little nit: on the Literotica.com home page - the forum is listed as "bulletin board." Elsewhere, it's referred to as the "forum." That little inconsistency just makes me twitch a bit.

I'm growing accustomed to the forum change and it's good so far.

Nothing visible on the forum goes to:

-- Story side profile/ Author console.

Is there a way to see your attachments in a single interface like there was in the old control panel? I used the attachment feature a lot and am really apprehensive to share photos unless I can easily see everything that's floating around whenever I want.

It's so not worth my safety to share if there's not a way to audit what's out there.

Getting a lot of "Oops we ran into a problem" when attempting to post, where I don't recall ever getting such messages before.
