What is that all about, and why does it still happen on so often? The old forum never gave that message.

It's really annoying to get that message after writing a long post for a roleplay, because typically it means you've lost most or all of what you've written.

It's annoying, but I've never lost a text.

Copy the text (ctrl+a, ctrl+c), refresh the page (F5), paste the text (ctrl+v).

I lose things most often when I'm using my phone. Maybe I just don't know how to use the site properly in that format, but if I'm on my PC, I do try to save what I have so I don't lose it.
 
And all my old messages are gone? maybe I don’t know how to access.. but my mailbox is gone. Wish you would have left a good thing alone

you've an envelope icon top right of page next to your name... it says 'conversations' when you hover over it. that's your regular inbox.

If no one answered the first part of your question:
Clicking on the time & date of the most recent post should bring you to the last one posted.

For example, to get to the last post in these threads, I’d click on the circled part

Pictures uploaded to Lit don't require pre-approval though and can be posted immediately in a thread. So...

I don't know what the "oops there is a problem" is from, but you can still select all and copy the text right before you submit what you were writing and if it doesn't work you still have the text on your clipboard.
I haven't used this site on my phone much since it was updated, but I do actually have to use that a lot.

Many of us hide that we are online because of the inappropriate and unwanted PMs we receive when the site shows we are active. This is among the first advice anyone with a feminine sounding username will receive here.

Yes, but the site is automatically catching certain issues now. People have been losing the ability to post photos altogether.

Generally you are on safe ground if you post a link to an image that is hosted on another site.

Depends on the rule. Some things are prohibited no matter what (underage, bestiality…). Others that maybe feature nudity that isn’t allowed to be hosted on the site is okay if it’s hosted elsewhere and linked.

LoL. I am sorry. It actually just seemed funny to ask. I was also drinking wine last night. I guess I shouldn't spam this thread with stupid questions though.
I do really wish you could move the indicator though or something.
